New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson is averaging exactly 4 rebounds per game through the early part of the regular season.

However, Brunson has thrived on the boards in games without Mitchell Robinson on the court with an average of 5 rebounds per game.

Brunson has cleared this total in 6 of 8 games without Robinson while landing on 3 & 2 in the other two games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder enter this game allowing the 4th most rebounds overall and 9th most rebounds to opposing point guards. Russell Westbrook just recorded 13 rebounds against OKC a few games ago.

The Thunder are also playing the second game of a back-to-back set after prevailing over the Minnesota Timberwolves 129-106 last night.

This line is already approaching -175 in some books and will continue to rise throughout the day. I would also consider over 4.5 rebounds at plus money as Brunson has recorded 5+ in 4 of those 8 games without Robinson, however the over 3.5 at -150 or better is preferred.

NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Cameron Johnson OVER 14.5 Points (-120) DK

Brooklyn Nets power forward Cameron Johnson has averaged 15 points per game on 47.7% shooting through the first 23 games of the 2023-24 campaign.

Johnson has been locked in recently, clearing this total in each of his last four games with 24, 18, 17 and 20 points.

During that stretch, Cam shot 13-23 (56.5%) from three-point land and 63% from the field. He also loves some home cooking, scoring 15+ points in 6 of his last 9 at the Barclay’s Center and 7 of 13 games on the season.

This includes a 19-point effort in a game against a Milwaukee Bucks team that ranks 23rd in defensive scoring with 119+ points allowed per game. Johnson also scored 18 points in his last back-to-back home game so that should also play into his favor.

The total is 240+ in this game and the spread is only -3, setting up Johnson for a full share of minutes against a vulnerable defense. Let’s look for Johnson to keep rolling at home with another 15+ point performance.
