NBA Player Props Predictions 1: RJ Barrett, Raptors Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105) DK
Toronto Raptors shooting guard RJ Barrett has averaged 18.8 points, 5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for an average of only 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists through the first 35 games of the regular season.
Barrett has only cleared this PRA total in 10 of those games but things have changed since the trade to Toronto as he’s recorded 32+ PRAs in his last two and 5 of his last 6 games.
Barrett is also a perfect 2-2 in his last two home games with 37 PRAs against the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
The Chicago Bulls do play at the leagues slowest pace of play, but Barrett has crushed this number in 4 of his last 5 games against them including his last two games with 55 and 33 PRA.
Pascal Siakam is also out of the mix, leaving a boatload of potential stats for Barrett to take advantage of. Let’s ride the trend on Barrett overs since joining the Raptors.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Rudy Gobert, Timberwolves Over 13.5 Rebounds (+105) DK
Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert is averaging 13.3 rebounds per game through the beginning of the 2023-24 NBA campaign.
Gobert has recorded 16+ rebounds in each of his last three and 4 of his last 6 games while landing on 12 in the two games where he fell short.
The Memphis Grizzlies are short on big men, and they have allowed the 7th most rebounds per game to opposing centers with 15.4 per game.
Gobert snagged 20 boards against the Grizz in his last appearance against them on December 8th while playing 36 minutes.
The Grizz are 12-point underdogs in this contest and will surely need to fire away shots in an attempt to keep up.
They buried 20 three-pointers against the Golden State Warriors in their last game, but Minnesota ranks #1 in field goals allowed and #5 in opponent three-pointers with only 11.6 per game.
I don’t see the Grizz landing 20 threes’ tonight and the Gobert will be planted in the paint while feasting on the boards.
