NBA Player Prop Predictions 1: Jimmy Butler

Miami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler averaged 5.3 assists last season but has seen those numbers dwindle with only 3 and 4 assists in his first two games of the season.

What’s just as concerning is his average potential assists sits at only 6.5 per game, not leaving much room to record 6 assists in any given game.

Butler has notoriously struggled to record assists against the Milwaukee Bucks defense as he’s fallen short in his last five regular season games with an average of only 1.8 assists per game.

The Bucks also held Butler under 6 assists in 4 of 5 postseason games last year. The Bucks game are obviously games where Butler takes the ownness on himself to score which lowers his assists numbers.

Considering he has started the season slow in that category, it makes the under 5.5 worthy of a small play despite the hefty juice.

NBA Player Prop Predictions 2: Scoot Henderson OVER 3.5 Turnovers (+124)

Portland Trailblazers rookie point guard Scoot Henderson has seen his scoring and shooting numbers decline in two straight games as his minute have shrunk due to foul trouble.

What hasn’t slowed down is his turnovers as he’s recorded 4, 5 and 4, clearing this total regardless of only playing 25 & 27 minutes in his last two games.

While the Toronto Raptors have only averaged 13 turnovers per game thus far, Dennis Shroeder is pest of a defender who can force opponent turnovers.

The Raptors have also faced two point guards who keep turnovers to minimum in Tyrese Maxey and Mike Conley.

However, in their game against the Chicago Bulls, they forced both Coby White and Zach Lavine to commit three turnovers each. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Henderson has cleared this total in all three games, and we still get plus money odds.
