NFL NFC Championship Touchdown Props Prediction: Saquon Barkley (+340) & Jalen Hurts (+550) (Split Bet)

Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts accounted for 10 of the Philadelphia Eagles 19 first touchdowns (5 each) this season after Jalen Hurts scored on a 44-yard scamper in the first series of the game against the Los Angeles Rams during the Divisional Round. NFL AFC Championship First Touchdown Props Prediction: Josh Allen (+600) & James Cook (+850) (Split Bet)

Josh Allen and James Cook are two of the three odds-on favorites to score first on Sunday evening at Arrowhead Stadium and both recorded three first touchdowns on the season.

The Buffalo Bills have failed to score first in both of their playoff games, but they scored first in 9 of their 17 regular season games (tied with KC).

James Cook has recorded an anytime touchdown in 13 of his 18 games (72%) this season and he scored twice against Kansas City in mid-November.

Josh Allen has been a touchdown scoring machine in the post season with two touchdowns last week against Baltimore and three touchdowns in two playoff games during the 2023 campaign.

One of those games was a two-touchdown effort during the Divisional Round against Kansas City last season and he extended his streak to three straight games with a score against the Chiefs in Week 11.

It goes without saying that the AFC Championship will be a highly contested game, but I like Buffalo to finally get over the hump and beat Kansas City and it starts with one of their workhorses striking first.
