NFL Week 3 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (-130) FD

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonthan Taylor has recorded an anytime touchdown in 8 of 12 games (75%) dating back to the beginning of the 2023 season.

Taylor let us down in Week 2 despite recording 135 all-purpose yards on 8.6 yards per carry in the first three quarters of the game.

Oddly, offensive play caller Shane Steichen decided to keep Taylor on the sideline for the entire 4th quarter due to the team being in “passing situations”.

Steichen must regret that decision, especially the first play of the 4th quarter where Trey Sermon ran for a 4-yard loss on 3rd and 1.

The Chicago Bears do have a solid defense but Titans running back Tony Pollard did score in Week 1. Last week, the Bears kept Texans running backs out of the end zone, but they were dealing with a Joe Mixon injury early in the 3rd quarter.

I fully expect the Colts to make it a priority to get the ball in Taylors hands and I couldn’t imagine him being more motivated.

NFL Week 3 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Lamar Jackson Baltimore Ravens (+185) DK

Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have started the season 0-2 and Jackson has been held scoreless despite running for 167 yards.

Now he faces a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the MOST rushing touchdowns with 5 while allowing opponents to run for over 140 yards per game.

They have struggled with red zone defense as the New Orleans Saints scored in 4 of 5 possessions a week after the Cleveland Browns went 2-2 inside the 20.

Saints quarterback Derek Carr scored on a 1-yard run and while Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson didn’t score, he did run for 39 yards on only five carries.

Derrick Henry could be an option, but he does have a -170-price tag and Jackson has tremendous value in comparison to quarterbacks with similar talent like Josh Allen (-135).

Baltimore ranks 3rd in offensive success rate despite playing a strong defense in the Chiefs and this sets up to be a close high scoring game where Jackson may take matters into his own hands.
