NFL Week 11 First Touchdown Props Prediction: David Montgomery Detroit Lions (+285) DK

David Montgomery is locked in a three-way tie with Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley for the most first touchdowns with four each and he’s scored an anytime touchdown in 7 of 9 games on the season.

The Detroit Lions are 13-point home favorites against the Jacksonville this week and they have scored first in 6 of their 9 games (66.6%) while the Jaguars have only struck first in 3 of their 10 games (30%).

The Jacksonville defense has struggled against the pass, but they are also tied for the 9th most rushing touchdowns allowed to opposing running backs with 8 while allowing 129+ rushing yards per game.

These are the lowest odds I’ve seen on a first touchdown this season, but 3-1 is still a sweet payout for Monty in a cupcake matchup. 

NFL Week 11 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Joe Mixon Houston Texans (+300) DK

Joe Mixon has scored an anytime touchdown in 6 of his 7 games this season and two of those were first touchdowns.

That includes an 8-yard scamper against the Detroit Lions in Week 10 while the Dallas Cowboys were unable to score a single touchdown in Cooper Rush’s first game at the helm.

The Texans have also been better at scoring first in general with 5 first team TDs in 9 games (55.5%) while Dallas has only three in the same number of games (33.3%).

Dallas has been carved up on the ground all season, allowing the 2nd most rushing yards (152/game) and the 3rd most rushing touchdowns allowed to opposing running backs (10).

The Texans are favored by over a touchdown in this contest and Mixon is the odds-on favorite to score first.
