NFL Week 2 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens (+330) FD

The Baltimore Ravens newly acquired running back Derrick Henry was one of the 16 NFL players to score a first touchdown in Week 1 as he ran for 46 yards on 13 carries.

Henry recorded 12 touchdowns during the 2023 campaign in his last season with the Tennessee Titans and two of those were first TDs.

In Week 2, Henry will have the opportunity to feast on a Las Vegas Raiders team that just got gashed by a former Raven as the Chargers JK Dobbins ran for 135 yards and a touchdown on only 10 carries. The Raiders only scored 10 points in Week 1, and they are 8.5-point underdogs in Week 2.

Henry has an anytime touchdown line set at -175, he’s the odds-on favorite to score first in this contest and he should be fresh as a daisy after an 11-day break playing last Thursday night.

NFL Week 2 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (+600) FD

Indianapolis Colts running back Johnathan Taylor finished the 2023 season in four-way tie for 2nd most first touchdowns with five and the only players to score six were Jakobi Meyers and Jerome Ford.

Last week, Taylor did score an anytime touchdown while running for 48 yards on 16 carries against a stout Houston Texans front.

Now Taylor will be licking his chops to face a Green Bay Packers run defense that allowed Saquon Barkley to run wild for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.

Taylor also has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and Barkley also scored a receiving touchdown on two catches for 23 yards.

The Packers offense may struggle to score as Malik Willis will be taking over the quarterback duties in place of the injured Jordan Love.

Green Bay may also struggle to deal with a quirky scheduling spot after playing in Brazil last Friday night. Taylor and Josh Jacobs are both favorites to score first in Week 2 and I like the Colts chances to find the end zone first.
