NFL Week 5 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams (+425) DK

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams is one of only four players in the NFL to score a touchdown in each of the first four weeks of the regular season and his anytime touchdown line is -200 for Week 5.

None of those have been first touchdowns but he’s to odds on favorite to score first this week as the Rams are -3-point home favorites.

The Green Bay Packers have tightened up their run defense, but they have allowed the 5th most running back receiving yards with 197 and that will increase Williams chances of scoring first as he’s caught 13 of 14 passes for 68 yards including a touchdown.

With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua still on the shelf, the Rams will look Williams way in the red area early and often.

NFL Week 5 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers (+350) DK

San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason is another player who hasn’t recorded a first touchdown despite scoring a touchdown in 3 of 4 games while averaging 4.9 yards per carry.

Mason has also run for 100+ yards in 3 of 4 games while recording 19+ carries in every game and catching a total of 6 of 7 targets for 57 receiving yards.

The Arizona Cardinals defense has allowed the 3rd most rushing yards (501) to opposing running backs while allowing 5 rushing touchdowns (tied for 3rd most).

The Cardinals have also struggled to put points on the board recently with only 13 and 14 points in their last two games.

George Kittle hasn’t practiced yet this week as he deals with a rib injury so there could one less mouth the feed in the red area. The 49ers are the biggest favorites on the Week 5 slate (-7) which increases their likelihood to score first, and Mason is the odd on favorite to get the job done.
