NFL Monday Night Football Props Prediction: Derek Carr, Saints UNDER 211.5 Passing Yards (-115) FanDuel

Defense should be at the forefront of tonight’s Saints vs Chiefs Monday Night Football matchup with the Saints leaving the comfort of the Caesars Superdome to play a game outdoors in Kansas City taking on a Chiefs team severely depleted on the offensive side of the ball.

Derek Carr has averaged just 206 passing yards per game so far this season. This will be the first game of the 2024 season in which the Saints play outdoors going against a Kansas City defense that has allowed just 204 passing yards per game over their last two against the Chargers and Falcons.

Carr’s passing yard prop is listed at 211.5 ahead of tonight’s matchup with the New Orleans quarterback throwing for just 197 yards in his last outdoor game last season at Tampa Bay.

New Orleans got off to a hot start this season but have leveled off over the past two games averaging with Alvin Kamara the focal point of the offense averaging 22 carries per game over the last two.

It’s also worth noting that two Saints offensive linemen have been ruled out for this game already which will force Carr to throw quick passes vs deep shots down field to the likes of Chris Olave and Rasheed Shaheed.

Look for a conservative approach from the Saints tonight which will leave Carr under 211.5 passing yards on Monday Night Football.

NFL Monday Night Football Props Prediction: Chris Jones, Chiefs To Record a Sack (+115) FanDuel

With our second prop we’re going to look to take advantage of the shorthanded Saints offensive line and look for DT Chris Jones to notch a sack at plus-money for the Chiefs tonight.

He has three total on the season which leads the team including two last week in the Chiefs 17-10 win over the Chargers.

Jones racked up 10.5 sacks last season with at least one in three of four regular season game against NFC opponents.

As we said at the start, defense will be highlighted tonight and the front seven for the Chiefs know they have to step up with the absence of Isaiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice on offense.

Six of his 10.5 sacks came at home last season and 7.5 of them came during wins and with the Chiefs favored by 5-6 points in this one, it sets up just right for Jones to record another sack tonight leading the Kansas City defense in what should be a low-scoring affair.
