NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Jordan Mason, 49ers OVER 17.5 Rushing Attempts (-120) FanDuel

Both the 49ers and Seahawks suffered home losses last week as they go toe-to-toe for Thursday Night Football in Week 6.

Since Christian McCaffery went down with achilles tendinitis Jordan Mason has done an excellent job filling in for him averaging 21 carries per game so far this season but had just 14 in last week’s loss.

With that, the 49ers may want to make Mason more of the focal point of the offense this week especially considering Seattle has allowed 128 rushing yards per game on the season.

Mason’s rushing attempt number currently sits at 17.5 as we’ll look for him to go over that number with no other competition in the running back room aside from Isaac Guerendo who has just 12 carries on the season.

Coincidentally enough, McCaffery averaged 17.5 carries per game in the two matchups with the Seahawks last season with the 49ers winning both games.

Look for Mason to get tons of touches in Thursday Night Football going up and over 17.5 rushing attempts against the Seahawks.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Geno Smith, Seahawks UNDER 250.5 Passing Yards (-115) FanDuel

Heading into Week 6 Geno Smith currently leads the NFL in passing yards but we think he comes back down to earth on Thursday Night Football against the 49ers going under 250.5 passing yards.

The 49ers currently lead the league in time of possession per game which will give Smith less opportunities to rack up passing yards than he’s been used to this season.

In his last three head-to-head regular season meetings with the 49ers Smith has averaged just 205 passing yards per game with the 49ers allowing just 197 passing yards per game this season which includes holding Kyler Murray to 195 passing yards in last week’s loss.

Look for the 49ers to get up and control the clock in this one limiting Smith’s passing yards under 250.5 for Thursday Night Football.
