NFL Week 1 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Tyreek Hill WR Miami Dolphins (+550) DK

In his second campaign with the Miami Dolphins, wide receiver Tyreek Hill put up a monster season with 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Hill was tied for the most “first touchdowns” with four and the only wide receivers with more were Jakobi Meyers (six), CeeDee Lamb and Jayden Reed with five.

The Jacksonville Jaguars allowed the 7th most passing yards overall with 239.8 per game and more importantly the 5th most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers with 18.

The Jacksonville defense is solid up front with strong pass rushers like Josh Hines-Allen and Arik Armstead.

However, their secondary is extremely vulnerable and with the quick release of Tua Tagovailoa the pass rush may be rendered ineffective. This sets up perfectly for Hill to break free and score the first touchdown as the odds-on favorite in this contest.

NFL Week 1 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Kenneth Walker III RB Seattle Seahawks (+500) DK

Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has had a nose for the end zone with nine touchdowns in each of his first two seasons in Seattle.

Only three of those were “first touchdowns” (two in 2023) but Walker is the odds-on favorite to score first at home against the Denver Broncos in Week 1.

The Broncos defense allowed the second most rushing yards (2,013) and tied for the seventh most rushing touchdowns (12) to opposing running backs during the 2023 campaign.

Denver also allowed the third most receiving touchdowns to opposing running backs with six which could come into play as Walker caught 29 passes for 259 yards last season.

The Broncos have one of the NFL’s elite cornerbacks in Patrick Surtain II and he will help keep the Seahawks receiving options in check.

The Seahawks are favored by six in a game with a low total set at 41.5 which could set up Walker for with multiple chances to score early.
