NFL Week 1 Passing Props Prediction: Tua Tagovailoa Miami OVER 269.5 Passing Yards (-115) DK

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa only threw for 270+ passing yards in eight of 18 games (44%) last season but started out on a bang with a season high 466 yards in Week 1.

However, he did clear this mark in 56% of home games and 64% of Dolphins victories which bodes well as Miami is favored by -3.5 points this week.

Tua has the luxury of facing a weak pass defense in the Jacksonville Jaguars who allowed the 7th most passing yards with 239.8 per game.

The Jags were stout against the run as they allowed 9th least rushing yards with just over 103 per game. Jacksonville’s strength is up front with pass rushers like Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker and Arik Armstead.

However, Tagovailoa has a quick release that will basically neutralize the pass rush and allow him to exploit the secondary with the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

NFL Week 1 Passing Props Prediction: Brock Purdy San Francisco UNDER 31.5 Pass Attempts (-125) DK

San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy fell short of this pass attempt total in a staggering 15 of 19 games last season (79%) and two of those games where in the postseason when the 49ers were down heavy and forced to pass.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan is content with running the and allowing Purdy to manage the game and play to his strengths.
