NFL Week 2 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (+105) FD

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor scored a touchdown against a strong defensive front in the Houston Texans in Week 1 while running the ball 16 times for 48 yards.

During the 2023 season, Taylor scored in 7 of the 10 games he played in including his final three contests on the road.

The Green Bay offense won’t be nearly effective with Malik Willis at helm in place of Jordan Love which could set up Indianapolis with additional scoring opportunities. I’m surprised that we are still getting plus money on this play.

NFL Week 2 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (+330) FD

We are going to roll with a long shot play for our second selection in Week 2 as Patrick Mahomes only recorded 2 carries for 3 yards in Week 1.

However, it was understandable in a matchup with brutal defense in the Baltimore Ravens. Admittedly, Mahomes didn’t record a single rushing touchdown during the 2023 campaign, but he did run for 2+ touchdowns in each of the prior five seasons.

Mahomes recorded the majority of his rushing yards early in the season in 2023 with 20+ rushing yards in 9 of his first 10 games and 30+ yards in 5 of his first 10 games.

Now he gets a crack at a Cincinnati Bengals run defense that allowed New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett to run for 32 yards on 7 carries and an average of 4.6 yards per carry.

If the Chiefs get inside the 10-yard line, I won’t be surprised to Mahomes tuck and run to cash this ticket at better than 3 to 1 odds.
