New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has fallen short of this Longest Completion line in all three games this season with 36, 26 and 27 yards.

Now he’s facing an elite Denver Broncos secondary that’s allowing the 3rd lowest yards per completion on the season, and they have yet to allow a pass longer than 30 yards.

Last week, Baker Mayfield’s longest pass went for only 13 yards, Week 2 Geno Smith maxed out at 30 yards and in Week 1 Justin Fields longest pass was only 16 yards.

The Jets obvious deep threat is Garret Wilson and he’ll be shadowed by shutdown cornerback Patrick Surtain.

The Broncos rank below average against the run with over 129 rushing yards allowed per game. That combined with New York being favored by over a touchdown will ensure a run friendly game script that will lower Rodgers chances at a deep pass.

NFL Week 3 Passing Props Prediction: Josh Allen Buffalo Bills OVER 230.5 Passing Yards (-115) DK

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has eclipsed this line in 2 of his first 3 games and he’s coming off one of the best games of his career where threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns while posting a 98.3 QBR.

The lone game where Allen fell short was 139-yard effort in the game where Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was injured and Buffalo jumped out in front early.

I’d be surprised if that happens against the Baltimore Ravens as this sets up as a competitive and high scoring game.

The Ravens have allowed a league high 291.7 yards per game as all three opposing quarterbacks have cleared this mark with Dak Prescott throwing for 379 yards, Gardner Minshew throwing for 276 yards and Patrick Mahomes throwing for 291 yards.

The Baltimore defense is also holding opponents to a league low 50 rushing yards per game so James Cook may find more success on screen passes.

Allen got on the same page with his new receiving core last week and 231+ seems like a reasonable number to surpass against this defense.
