NFL Week 5 Passing Props Prediction: Andy Dalton Carolina Panthers OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-130) DK

Andy Dalton has only thrown one interception in two games as the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, but his pass volume is through the roof with 37 and 40 attempts.

That should continue in Week 5 as the Panthers are projected to run the 2nd most plays as -3.5-point underdogs.

Carolina also hasn’t faced a pass defense as strong as the Chicago Bears as they rank 4th in interceptions with 5 and 8th in passing yards allowed with 174.5.

The Bears defense has recorded an interception in 3 of 4 games with two twice and the only quarterback to avoid throwing a pick was CJ Stroud.

Chicago is a ball hawking defense and with Dalton throwing so many passes I see at least one interception in his future.

NFL Week 5 Passing Props Prediction: Aaron Rodgers New York Jets OVER 221.5 Passing Yards (-118) FD

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has cleared this line in each of his last two games including a 225-yard effort last week despite playing a Denver Broncos defense that ranks 3rd in passing yards allowed (146/game).

Now he faces a Minnesota Vikings defense that not only allows the MOST passing yards (274.3/game) but also the 2nd fewest rushing yards (75/game).

Minnesota has also allowed the MOST passing attempts per game with 45 and 2 of 4 opposing quarterbacks have surpassed this mark with CJ Stroud falling just short at 215 yards.

This Vikings themselves have shown the ability to push scoring as they rank 4th in scoring with 29 points per game and this game will have ideal conditions on the fast track at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Head coach Robert Saleh said he isn’t concerned about Rodgers availability as he does have a banged up and maybe that actually keeps him in the pocket for a few extra passes to eclipse this manageable total.
