NFL Week 14 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Mike Evans, Buccaneers (+650) DK

We cashed a +700 ticket on Mike Evans scoring the first touchdown against the Carolina Panthers with a two-yard reception late in the first quarter.

Evans now leads all wide receivers in first touchdowns with four and he’s scored the 4th most first touchdowns overall behind only Derrick Henry, David Montgomery and Saquon Barkley.

He’s also scored an anytime touchdown in 5/9 games with a total of 7 on the season. The Bucs are favored by -6.5 points, and they have scored first in 8/12 games (66.6%) while the Raiders have only scored first in 5/12 games (41.6%).

This should lead to Tampa Bay scoring first and the only players more likely to score first are running backs Bucky Irving and Rachaad White.

However, Vegas has been slightly more vulnerable against the pass than against the run and I’m betting on Baker Mayfield targeting Evans early again in this contest.

NFL Week 14 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Saquon Barkley, Eagles (+265) DK

Saquon Barkley is tied for the second most first touchdowns with David Montgomery with 5 and the second most anytime touchdowns with Ja’Marr Chase with 13.

Barkley has also scored an anytime touchdown in 7 of 12 games on the season. Now he faces a Carolina Panthers defense that has allowed the MOST running back touchdowns (15) and MOST running back rushing yards (137.6/game).

The Panthers defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone, and they are the ONLY team in the NFL to allow more than 30 points per game this season.

The Eagles are favored by nearly two touchdowns in this contest and there is no reason for them not to run the ball early and often. Assuming we can avoid the “Tush Push”, Barkley should score first and make this play worthy of the low +265 price tag.
