NFL Week 14 Passing Props Prediction: Sam Darnold, Vikings OVER 242.5 Passing Yards (-114) FD

Sam Darnold has cleared this line in 4 of his last 7 games while landing on 235, 240 and 241 passing yards in the three games where he fell short. During that seven-game span, Darnold has thrown for an average of 263 yards per game. 

Now he is up against the Atlanta Falcons. They have struggled against opposing quarterbacks in 4 of their last 5 games. Bo Nix threw for 307 yards. Derek Carr passed for 269 yards. Baker Mayfield threw for 330 yards. Even Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush combined for 248 yards. 

On the season, the Falcons have ranked 22nd with 221+ passing yards allowed per game. Darnold struggles when he’s under pressure, but Atlanta ranks 27th in quarterback pressure rate and DEAD LAST in sacks. 

Darnold will feel good throwing the ball against this defense. In his last three home games, he threw for 235, 290, and 259 yards.

NFL Week 14 Passing Props Prediction: Matthew Stafford, Rams OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-125) DK

Matthew Stafford has thrown 2+ touchdowns in 5 of his last 6 games including each of his last three games with four touchdowns in two of those games.

This includes two of his last three home games where Stafford has recorded 34+ pass attempts in 4 of his last 5 games. This run also connects to the return of wide receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Both are fully healthy for this game. 

Now he is up against a Buffalo Bills team. They are average in allowing passing touchdowns this season. However, they have allowed 2 or more in three of their last four games.

Brock Purdy did not throw a touchdown last week. Before that, Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns. Joe Flacco and Tua Tagovailoa each threw two touchdowns.

A significant part of that is the Bills have consistently pushed scoring with 30+ points scored in each of their last five games.

At 6-6, this is a must-win for the Rams. Stafford should have many chances in this game. The spread is -3.5, and the total is 49.5.
