NFL Week 17 Passing Props Prediction: Sam Darnold Minnesota Vikings Over 0.5 Interceptions (-120)

Sam Darnold has kept the interceptions to a minimal recently with only one interception in his last six games, but he has thrown one in 8 of 15 games on the season.

This includes a game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 4 where Darnold threw a pick while completing 20 of 28 passes.

The Packers defense ranks 5th in interceptions with an average of one per game. The Green Bay secondary has improved in recent weeks, and they now lead the NFL in opponent drop back EPA since Week 10.

We should see a very competitive game and with a total set at 48.5, Darnold should be in throwing situations throughout this contest. 

NFL Week 17 Passing Props Prediction: Kyler Murray Arizona Cardinals Under 228.5 Passing Yards (-113)

Kyler Murray has fallen short of this line in back-to-back weeks with only 202 and 224 passing yards thrown against vulnerable defenses in Carolina and New England.

Murray has always struggled late in the season with an average of only 221.3 passing yards per game in 22 December starts compared to an average of 260.2 in September, 241.7 in October and 230.8 in November.

The Los Angeles Rams defense has improved in recent weeks, and we have seen them hold 3 of the last 5 opposing quarterbacks under 200 yards including Brock Purdy 142 yards, Derek Carr 184 yards & Jalen Hurts 179 yards.

This is a meaningless game for the Cardinals but it’s crucial that Los Angeles gets a victory so we should fully expect them to put the clamps down on defense.
