NFL Week 18 Passing Props Prediction: Baker Mayfield Tampa Bay Buccaneers Over 249.5 Passing Yards (-120)

Baker Mayfield has thrown for 250+ passing yards in 63% of his games on the season including each of the last four games with 359, 303, 288 and 295 yards.

Mayfield already threw for 325 yards against the New Orleans Saints back in October in a game where he completed 24 of 36 passes.

The Saints defense has allowed the 4th most passing yards with 240+ per game and they have allowed 5 of the last 7 opposing starting quarterbacks to eclipse their respective passing yard totals.

The Bucs can clinch the NFC South division crown with a victory while New Orleans is playing out the string.

Wide receiver Mike Evans also has personal goal of 85 receiving yards to give him 1,000+ yards in every season throughout his career (11 seasons).

Regardless, I don’t see Tampa Bay taking the foot of the gas and that will give Mayfield plenty of reps to clear this line.

NFL Week 18 Passing Props Prediction: Jared Goff Detroit Lions Over 271.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Jared Goff has cleared this line in 56% of his games on the season including each of the last four games where he’s recorded 303, 336, 494 and 283 passing yards.

Goff completed 22-25 passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions against the Minnesota Vikings back in October.

The Vikings have allowed the 4th most passing yards (264.7/game) on the MOST pass attempts (38.3/game) on the season.

The Minnesota defense blitzes at the highest rate in the NFL and the Lions offensive line does a great job protecting Goff who holds the 6th best grade when blitzed (82.9) according to PFF.

The Vikings will also push the scoring against an injury riddled Lions defense that has allowed 30+ points in 3 of their last 4 games.

This game features the highest total of the season at 56.5 and the winner takes the #1 seed in the NFC, so Goff and company won’t be taking their foot off the gas.
