Cardinals vs Browns Pick: The Betting Analysis

The Cardinals are 1-7 SU and 4-4 ATS. The Browns are 4-3 SU and 3-3-1 ATS. Arizona is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in its last seven games against the Browns.

Those games went 5-1-1 to the over. Arizona is 1-4 ATS in its last five games, and five of its last seven games have gone over.

Five of the last seven matchups between these two teams have gone over, but six of the Browns’ last seven home games have gone under.

Cardinals vs Browns Prediction: Cardinals Football Preview

The Cardinals started the season hot against opponents head coach Jonathan Gannon was familiar with, but at this point, Arizona is the worst team in the NFL, and they are at least a field goal worse than the average team on a neutral field.

We also do not anticipate Kyler Murray making his season debut in this game, either. Arizona can scratch and claw and fight to stay in games, but as we have been saying since before the season began, this team is simply not talented enough to compete for 60 minutes week in and week out.

Arizona traded Josh Dobbs, and Clayton Tune is expected to make the start on Sunday. This team’s run game is non-existent without James Connor, and this defense is devoid of playmakers.

Browns Football Preview

The Browns had a chance to come out of Seattle with a win, but a late PJ Walker interception led to the Seahawks marching down the field and taking the win.

This Browns’ defense continues to be great; they forced two turnovers and held Seattle to 4-12 on third down and just 17 first downs, but PJ Walker is one of, if not the, worst QBs in the NFL.

Cleveland is staying in games and winning games in spite of him. We anticipate Deshaun Watson suiting up for this one, and while he is better than Walker, how much better is he?

Watson claims he was injured heading into the Indy game, and based on the limited throws he made, he must be injured because some of those throws and decisions were terrible.

Cardinals vs Browns Prediction: The PICK

Even after the poor outlier performance this team had two weeks ago, this is still one of the best defenses in the NFL.

If the Browns can take care of the football, their defense should have a field day against this Cardinals’ offense.

Laying seven points with PJ Walker, or this current Watson, is not something we are interested in, but Cleveland is a great teaser leg, as they should certainly still come away with the outright win.
