The Chiefs are firing on all cylinders. The talk about this team heading into this matchup was how good their defense is and how bad their offense is.

This is the best defense Patrick Mahomes has had in his entire career. Just when you start to think maybe we should be concerned about the offense, Mahomes goes 32/42 for 424 yards and a touchdown in a 14-point beatdown of the Chargers.

The Chiefs had 100+ more yards than LA, they went 6-11 on third down, held Justin Herbert to 17/30 passing, and intercepted him twice.

This was a statement win for the Chiefs as they have proven that they are as complete as they have ever been in the Mahomes era.

Broncos Football Preview

There are not many things to get excited about for the Broncos, but winning on Sunday certainly is one of them.

The Broncos were holding a 9-0 lead heading into halftime, and the Packers came storming back. Luck was on their side; Green Bay’s two touchdowns came on an amazing catch and a deflection, but the Broncos were not ready to lose this game.

Russell Wilson led a field goal drive with 3:54 left, and Denver’s defense stopped the Packers from getting into field goal range, and they intercepted Jordan Love with 1:52 to go on third and 20. Now, the Broncos host the Chiefs for the 2nd time this season.

The first time these teams played, the Chiefs’ defense suffocated the Broncos’ offense, and Denver only had eight points.

Kansas City is 10-0 SU and 5-5 ATS in their L10 meetings with the Broncos. Those games went 6-4 to the under. The Chiefs are 11-5 ATS in their L16 games against Denver and 7-0 SU in their L7 road games.

The spread for that game closed at 10.5, and this game is sitting at KC -8 on the road. The Broncos’ defense has played much better the last couple of weeks, but so has the Chiefs’ offense. Based on the history of this series, teasing down KC to -1.5 certainly seems like a great look.

Chiefs vs Broncos Prediction: The PICK

Teasing down road favorites has a lower probability of hitting, but the Chiefs check all the boxes to be a great teaser leg this weekend.

Kanas City’s defense is one of the best in the NFL, and despite playing better recently, the Broncos are still one of the worst teams in the NFL.

We expect there to be more points than there was in the Thursday game between these two teams, but we expect the Chiefs to win again.
