Cowboys vs 49ers Prop Pick 1: Tony Pollard

Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard currently ranks 5th in the league for rushing yards with 73 carries for 311 yards and an average of 4.3 yards per carry.

Pollard has cleared this rushing total in three of four games with 70, 72, 122 and 47 yards. He finally fell short last week in a 38-3 blowout victory against the New England Patriots were he only needed to run the ball 11 times.

However, Pollard has been feasting on the likes of the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and New York Giants.

Enter the San Francisco 49ers stellar defensive unit that ranks 3rd in the league in rushing defense with only 66 yards allowed per game. More importantly, they have allowed the least yards to opposing running backs with an impressive 166 yards across four games.

Najee Harris ran for only 31 yards on six carries in Week 1, Kyren Williams 14 carries for 52 yards in Week 2, Matt Breida 4 carries for 17 yards in Week 3 and James Connor 11 carries for 52 yards last week.

This will easily be the toughest test for Pollard thus far and 49ers defense will be up for the task. Take the under on Pollard for this week.

Cowboys vs 49ers Prop Pick 2: Dak Prescott OVER 13.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has recorded 14+ rushing yards in two of his first four games of the season with 14 yards against the New York Jets in Week 2 and 24 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.

Prescott seems to be willing to risk himself and run in critical or competitive games and there was no need for that in the 40-0 victory over the New York Giants in Week 1 or the 38-3 game last week against the New England Patriots.

This is definition of a critical game as Prescott and the Cowboys go toe-to-toe with the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers have allowed two of four quarterbacks to clear this total as Matthew Stafford carried the ball four times for 17 yards in Week 2 and Josh Dobbs ran the ball 12 times for 48 yards just last week.

Prescott also ran for 22 yards on four carries in the Cowboys NFC Divisional Playoff game against the 49ers in January.

This is a standalone Sunday Night Football where the stars will go all out, and this is essentially the game of the week.

Look for Prescott to call his own number a few times and gain yards on the ground on broken plays in front of a hostile environment to push him up and over this total.
