NFL Week 4 Notes

Again, just to reiterate: As of Saturday afternoon, these are games that I have not bet. I am simply sharing some of my notes that may, perhaps, assist in your handicapping as you break down the NFL Week 4 card.

Washington Football -1.5 at Atlanta Falcons: I would have taken the Washington Football Team as a ‘dog as they’re better than the Falcons on my numbers. But the oddsmakers also feel that way and I can’t back the visitors even as minimal chalk.

Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 at Philadelphia Eagles: Sure looks like the right spot for Kansas City against a Phllly offense that looked awful on Monday and might just be this bad. My holdup is the fact the Chiefs just aren’t playing well and they’re 0-3 against the spread. I need to see a solid 60 minutes from Kansas City before I can back them as substantial chalk.

Arizona Cardinals +4 at LA Rams: This Rams vs Cardinals game might be the best game of the day. Had the look ahead Rams -6 line held up, I probably would have taken the Cardinals. But +4 just not quite enough to invest.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -7 at New England Patriots: The entire planet is on the Bucs and the ticket count disparity on this game is incredible. But the market might just have this one right. I tried to find a way to justify a public fade but could not come up with one. I would have laid -5.5 with the Bucs, but will pass at -7.
