Why are the Giants being featured on primetime this season? What a disaster. Daniel Jones was sacked 11 times, and the Giants kicked a single measly field goal in their 24-3 loss against the Seahawks.
Jones also fumbled once, and he also threw a 97-yard pick-six. Geno Smith only connected on 13 passes, but that’s all he needed to do, as turnovers and bad play killed the Giants from the get-go. It was impossible for Miami not to have a letdown, right?

After scoring 70 points two weeks ago, Miami was the talk of the NFL, and they were humbled right away in Buffalo by the Bills.
After a closely contested first quarter, the wheels fell off for Miami’s defense, and they were beatdown 48-20. Tua was sacked four times and threw a pick, and Miami was incapable of getting the ball to Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.
Despite Miami’s lack of offensive success, the real storyline is how badly their defense played. Josh Allen got whatever he wanted, and he literally played one of the best games by any QB in the history of the NFL.
It’s not like Buffalo dominated time of possession or outgained Miami by a ton. Buffalo just got whatever they wanted and gained yards whenever they needed to, and big plays by four different Bills killed Miami’s chances of getting stops, which led to this blowout loss.
Giants vs Dolphins Prediction: The PICK
Miami hosts this struggling Giants team as a 10-point favorite this weekend, and this game has all the makings to be an ugly matchup.
The Giants’ offensive line is in shambles, and Miami should be able to get similar pressure on Daniel Jones. While the Giants’ defense did not play terribly on Monday, they will be in for a rude awakening against the speed of the Dolphins.
Not to mention, the heat in Miami will be tough to deal with for New York. The Giants are 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS. The Dolphins are 3-1 SU and 3-1 ATS. New York is 5-2 SU and 3-4 ATS in their L7 meetings with the Dolphins.
Those games went 5-2 to the under. New York is 0-5 ATS in their L5 games, and four of their L5 games have gone under. Miami is 6-1 ATS in their L7 game, and the total has gone over in four of their L5 games.
Prediction: Dolphins -10.5
