NFL Monday Night Football Props Prediction: Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions OVER 18.5 Rushing Attempts (-115) FanDuel

Without David Montgomery in the lineup, Jahmyr Gibbs should be busy once again as the Lions take on the 49ers for Monday Night Football.

In his first full game without Montgomery, Gibbs had 23 carries last week against the Bears with tonight’s rushing attempt line set at 18.5 in which we think he goes over.

Even with Montgomery in the lineup, Gibbs averaged 15 carries per game and the Lions will want to attack San Francisco on the ground with the 49ers ranking third best in passing yards allowed per game this season.

Coincidentally, In their past four games the 49ers have allowed lead running backs to average 18.5 carries per game and in total 30 rushing attempts per game allowed across their last three games.

Gibbs will be the bell-cow back tonight with the only competition for carries being Craig Reynolds who had just four carries last week.

NFL Monday Night Football Props Prediction: Brock Purdy, 49ers OVER 255.5 Passing Yards (-115) FanDuel

On the other side of the ball, the Lions are pretty banged up on defense so we’ll take a look at Brock Purdy going over 255.5 passing yards after throwing for 313 yards in last week’s 29-17 loss at Miami.

Detroit ranks bottom five in passing yards allowed at 240 per game and just gave up 334 passing yards to Caleb Williams in their 24-17 win at Chicago.

If we circle back to last year’s NFC Championship in San Francisco, Purdy threw for 267 yards in their 34-31 win and the Lions secondary will surely have their hands full with all of George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings down field.

Purdy has gone over 255.5 passing yards in two of his last three days and the Lions could be caught in a sandwich spot already looking ahead to next week’s game against the Vikings at home which will determine the #1 seed in the NFC this season.

Look for Purdy to take advantage and at keep the 49ers in this game going over 255.5 passing yards against the Lions.
