Monday Night Football Prop Prediction 1: Jamaal Williams, Saints Anytime Touchdown (+125)

The 2022 rushing touchdown leader Jamaal Williams didn’t cross the goal line in Week 1 but still had 18 carries and two catches in the Saints win against the Titans.

Tennessee had they best rushing defense in the NFL last season only allowing 77 rushing yards per game, but the Saints get a more vulnerable rushing defense in the Panthers tonight who were bottom half of the league in rush defense in 2022 at 122 rush yards per game allowed.

Williams will still serve as the lead back for the Saints with Alvin Kamara still serving two games of his suspension and is poised to still serve a key role when Kamara gets back and a touchdown tonight would certainly help his case.

Should Williams get 15-20 carries again tonight, he should have no problem crossing the goal line as he averaged 15 carries per game last season with the Lions.

Monday Night Football Prop Prediction 2: Nick Chubb Anytime Touchdown (+110)

Just like Williams, Browns running back Nick Chubb also failed to cross the goal line but still had 18 carries and four catches for 129 total yards.

He was tied for 3rd in the NFL last season in rushing touchdowns with 12 and we’re speculating that he crosses the goal line for the first time in 2023 tonight.

The Steelers allowed 49ers lead back Christian McCaffery to rush for 152 yards and a touchdown last week with Chubb averaging 95 yards in two games against the Steelers last season scoring two touchdowns in total against them as well.

Chubb has been long overdue for a rushing touchdown specifically now not scoring one in seven straight games dating back to last season.

He scored 12 rushing touchdowns in his first 11 games in 2022 so look for him to get back in the touchdown column tonight in Monday Night Football against the Steelers tonight!
