Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: Courtland Sutton, Broncos Anytime TD (+120 or better projected line)

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has caught 50 passes for 639 yards and 9 touchdowns (3rd most) through the first 12 games of the regular season.

Sutton has spread those touchdowns out, finding the end zone in 9 of 12 those games including 6 of his last 7 games.

Now he has the opportunity to feast on a Los Angeles Chargers pass defense that has allowed the second most receiving yards with 265+ per game.

More importantly, the Chargers have allowed the 5th most touchdowns (13) and yards (2,170) to opposing wide receivers despite shutting out the New England Patriots last week.

In the prior three weeks, wide receivers Zay Flowers, Christian Watson, Romeo Dobbs and Amon-Ra St Brown all found their way into the end zone.

Sutton scored against the Chargers in his last game against them during the 2022 and this is an even more favorable matchup. Play the Sutton touchdown this week at +120 odds or better.

Anytime TD Scorer Prediction 2: Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs Anytime TD (+320 or better projected line)

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has tucked the ball away and run 57 times for 331 rushing yards without finding the end zone in the 2023 campaign.

However, Mahomes has recorded at least two rushing touchdowns in each of his five full seasons including a career high four last season.

He’s clearly more comfortable running at Arrowhead Stadium where he’s cleared his rushing yard total in 5 of 6 games compared to only 2 of 6 games on the road. Enter the Buffalo Bills defense that just let Jalen Hurts score twice while recording 65 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Basically, any quarterback with an ounce of running ability has eclipsed their respective rushing total including Russell Wilson, Baker Mayfield, Trevor Lawrence and Sam Howell.

On top of that, the Chiefs top two running backs Isiah Pacheco (missed Wednesday practice with shoulder contusion) and Jerick McKinnon (groin) are both currently listed as questionable on the injury report.

This is a critical AFC showdown between two teams that desperately need a victory. Mahomes will put it all on the line at home and this is about the best shot we will get on an anytime touchdown with a +320 or better projected line.
