Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: Garrett Wilson, Jets Anytime TD(+150 or better projected line)

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has caught 21 of 36 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns during his first four games of the 2023 campaign.

However, Wilson hasn’t found paydirt in his last two games despite having double the receptions and nearly double the targets as the first two games.

Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is coming off one of the best starts of his career where he completed 28 of 39 passes for a pair of touchdowns and no interceptions resulting in a 105.2 quarterback rating.

The Denver Broncos defense has been historically bad, allowing a league high 37.5 points per game and over 1,200 total yards of offense in the past two weeks.

More importantly, the Broncos defense as allowed six touchdowns to opposing wide receivers which is tied for the most in the NFL.

Wilson is known as a deep threat that can beat you over the top. Denver has already allowed a 54-yard touchdown bomb to Tyreek Hill as well as a 30-yarder to Terry McLaurin and it’s hard to imagine them keeping a lid on the Wilson-to-Wilson connection for a full 60 minutes.

The +150 is a projected line based on matchup and past results but anything at plus money will be worth a look based on this horrendous pass defense.

Anytime TD Scorer Prediction 2: Jalen Hurts, Eagles Anytime TD (+100 or better projected line)

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has opened the season a bit shaky as a passer with 959 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions resulting in an ugly 53.6 quarterback rating in his first four games of the season.

However, he has found success on the ground with 40 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns. Hurts recorded two rushing touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 and one against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

The Los Angeles Rams defense ranks middle of the road in opposing quarterback rushing yards, but they are tied for the 2nd most quarterback rushing touchdowns allowed with two.

Indianapolis Colts rookie signal caller Anthony Richardson scored this past week and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy scored in Week 2.

The Rams offense has already been very explosive this season and it looks like wide receiver Cooper Kupp is ready for his first action of the season.

The Eagles are favored by 4 points, and we have the 2nd highest total of the week at 50.5, so a tight and high scoring game is projected.

That’s music to the ears of anytime touchdown bettors as Hurts should get plenty of red zone opportunities to turn a broken play into a rushing touchdown. The +100 is a projected line but I would consider this a play at -125 or better.
