Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: DJ Moore, Bears Anytime TD (+100 or better projected line)

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore is having a successful inaugural season with the team, catching 27 of his 34 targets for 531 yards and five touchdowns.

Moore is coming off an outstanding performance on Thursday night where he caught 8 of his 10 targets for 230 yards and three touchdowns against the Washington Commanders. Most importantly, Moore has now caught a touchdown pass in three straight games.

Similar to the Commanders, the Minnesota Vikings have a weak pass defense that has allowed to MOST yards (1,048) and third MOST touchdowns (6) to opposing wide receivers.

The Vikings pass defense just let Patrick Mahomes complete 31-41 passes for 281 yards while throwing touchdowns to both Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice. The Bears running back tandem of Khalil Herbert (high ankle sprain) and Roschon Johnson (concussion) are also both doubtful for this contest.

The Vikings are favored by 2.5 points with a total of 44 so the Bears should be in passing situations for the majority of the game against a poor pass defense.

Moore will be a popular pick this weekend after his monster performance, but he has also built an amazing rapport with Justin Fields and the Bears are out of other options.

Anytime TD Scorer Prediction 2: Dallas Goedert, Eagles Anytime TD (+205)

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has caught 21 of his 28 targets for 205 yards and a touchdown thus far during the regular season.

Goedert is coming off a 23-14 victory over the Los Angeles Rams where he set season highs in targets (9), receptions (8) and yards (117). More importantly, Goedert also caught his first touchdown pass of the campaign as he exposed a defense that has struggled against the tight end position.

Now he faces a New York Jets defense that has allowed the MOST touchdowns (5) and 9th most yards (289) to opposing tight ends. This is a Jets pass defense that was already missing one of their top two cornerbacks as DJ Reed missed the last game against the Denver Broncos due to a concussion.

Now the 2022 #4 overall draft pick and cornerback Sauce Gardner is dealing with a knee issue that took him out of the Jets most recent game, although he did return to action. We could see the Jets play it safe with these players as their bye week is scheduled for Week 7 directly after this game.

Regardless which cornerbacks are active, the Jets defensive backfield will have their hands full dealing with Eagles dynamic wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith as well as a mobile quarterback in Jalen Hurts.

The Jets are coming off a game where they allowed Broncos tight end Adam Trautman to catch four passes for 26 yards and touchdown.

That was the first Denver tight end touchdown of the season and the Broncos have targeted the tight end position a grand total of 18 times in five games.

Hurts was smart enough to utilize Goedert against the Rams and we fully expect more of the same on Sunday afternoon in the Big Apple.
