2024-25 NFL Most Passing Yards Predictions

No surprise, Patrick Mahomes is the favorite to record the most passing yards in 2024 as he is in most categories involving quarterbacks, but favorites don’t always win, and they definitely don’t offer the best value.

Despite leading the NFL in passing yards last season, Tua Tagovailoa is currently tied for the 4th-best odds to win this category at 8 to 1.

Obviously Tagovailoa has a pair pf extremely talented wide receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to go along with a sharp play-calling head coach in Mike McDaniel.

The Dolphins did lose their defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio and key defenders in Brandon Jones, Christian Wilkins & Andrew Van Ginkel during the offseason.

A watered-down defense should push Tua into passing more often to keep up with opponents and I could see him approaching 5,000 yards and leading the league in passing again.

2024-25 NFL Most Passing Yards Longshot Prediction

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has recorded 4,000+ passing yards in back-to-back seasons with 4,006 in 2023 and 4,113 in 2022.

Last season, he ranked 1st in expected passing yards per game, 5th in pass attempts per game (35.3) and 9th in passing yards per game (251).

Now the Jaguars have upgraded their downfield threats with the additions of Brian Thomas Jr and Gabe Davis. At 25-1 Lawrence is by far the best option for a longshot based on his track record.
