Did you know: Dallas has started with the ball in eight of their last nine games, electing to receive the kickoff after winning the coin toss in each of the last two weeks. This week’s guide was published before the conclusion of the Week 11 Monday Night Football game between the Bucs and Giants.
- Chicago has lost 3+ turnovers in each of their last five games.
- Detroit is 3-1 against the spread in their last four games, despite losing 12 turnovers.
- The under is 7-1 in the Lions’ last eight games.
- Over the last five weeks, the Lions are averaging seven fewer first downs than their opponents.
- Over the last three weeks, the Raiders are 0-3 against the spread and have failed to cover those games by an average of 17.3 points per game.
- Dallas is 4-1 against the spread at home, covering those games by an average margin of 9.2 points per game (and that includes a blowout loss to Denver).
- Since Dallas’ bye week, the under is 4-0 in Cowboys’ games.
- Buffalo hasn’t lost back-to-back weeks against the spread since Week 7/8 of last season.
- Buffalo started the season 5-2 against the spread with only five lost turnovers in those seven games. They’ve turned the ball over nine times in the last three weeks.
- The over is 6-1 in New Orleans’ last seven games, including each of Trevor Simien’s starts.
- Tennessee is 2-0 against the spread following a straight-up loss, covering the spread in those two games by 11.3 points per game.
- New England has covered the spread in each of their last five games, with an average spread margin of 21.8 points per game.
- During this five-game cover streak, the Patriots are +9 in turnover margin and averaging almost nine more first downs per game than their opponents.
- The Jets are 0-4 against the spread on the road, failing to cover those games by an average margin of 14.1 points per game.
- The Texans are getting out-gained by 148 yards per game over the last eight weeks.
- The Eagles are 4-2 against the spread on the road with three of those covers coming by double digits.
- During the first four weeks, Philadelphia averaged 11 penalties per game (1-3 ATS). Since then, they’re averaging 4.6 penalties per game (5-2 ATS).
- Philadelphia has covered the first half spread in each of their last four games.
- Tampa Bay is 0-5 against the spread on the road, including three double-digit spread losses.
- The Colts are +12 in turnover margin over their last eight games.
- Over the last four games, Atlanta is getting out-gained by 122.3 yards per game with a -7 sack margin and a -5 turnover margin.
- The under is 8-1 in Jacksonville’s last nine games.
- Each of Miami’s last four games have stayed under the total, with three of those four staying under by double digits.
- Pittsburgh hasn’t won back-to-back games against the spread all season.
- Over the last six games, Cincinnati is averaging only 2.8 penalties per game (only 24 yards/game).
- Each of Denver’s last four games have stayed under the total.
- Denver is 1-3 against the spread in their last four home games, with all three of those spread losses coming by double digits.
- Minnesota has covered the spread in each of their last four road games.
- San Francisco is -7 in turnover margin at home this season.
- Green Bay has only lost the turnover battle twice this season.
- Cleveland is 0-3 against the spread following their last three straight-up wins.
- Baltimore has failed to cover each of their last four games, with a -10 turnover margin in those four games.
- Seattle hasn’t out-gained their opponent since Week 1.
