Give me the Patriots to score first and win the game at a sweet price of +165 for our first pick. New England led the NFL last season with seven defensive scores, if you blindly bet them in every game them last season you would be up +37 units.
They also scored 4, 6 and 3 defensive touchdowns in the prior three seasons which were all profitable at the current odds of +700.
The Patriots almost got their first defensive/special teams’ touchdown of 2023 on a blocked field goal last Sunday night.
They will be licking their chops with Wilson behind center, making a New England defensive TD worth a sprinkle.

The New England Patriots and New York Jets will both be desperate for a victory after starting their seasons 0-2 under very different circumstances.
The Patriots have suffered from slow starts against the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. They could have easily been blown out in both games but battled back to ultimately lose by one score.

The Jets essentially had the wind removed from their sails due to the injury to Aaron Rodgers and then were steamrolled by a dangerous Dallas Cowboys team.
This game features a total of only 36.5 and a spread of 2-3 points which is only fitting for a showdown between the Pats and Jets.
However, a game against Zach Wilson is exactly what the Patriots need to get right the ship.
Wilson already ranks dead last in QB rating (53.3), and he leads all quarterbacks in interceptions with four on the season.

Bill Belichick is known for getting in rookie and/or young quarterbacks heads and he absolutely own space in Wilson’s.
Wilson has thrown seven interceptions in four games against New England, and he has an abysmal 50.6 QB rating which is his lowest against any team.
The Patriots have also sacked Wilson 11 times and recorded 21 quarterback hits in those four head-to-head games.
Forcing turnovers against Wilson will give the Patriots better field position after starting only 3 of 24 drives in opponents’ territory during their first two games.
Two of the three Wilson interceptions against Dallas put the Cowboys deep in the Jets territory last week.
The Patriots have dominated the Jets with victories in 14 straight games, a streak that dates back to 2015. Garrett Wilson wasn’t old enough to drive the last time the Jets beat the Patriots.
New England has shown that they can hang with some of the best teams in the NFL and the Jets team that ran for only 64 yards last week isn’t of that caliber.
The Patriots defense is legit, and Belichick will have a game plan drawn up that will shut down this Jets offense and put Mac Jones in positions to score early and ultimately win this contest.
