Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 1: Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers Over 9.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

We’re all aware at this point of the NFL season that the Buccaneers rushing offense is atrocious only averaging 78 yards on the ground per game which is 4th worst of all teams.

As a result Baker Mayfield has had to pick up some of the slack in that department scrambling out of the pocket and running up field in some cases.

Sure Mayfield isn’t the runner he used to be but he’s gone over 9.5 yards rushing in four of six games on the season including 32 yards rushing last week against Atlanta.

We should see Mayfield endure a pass rush tonight and to protect his health he’s better off stepping up, getting out of the pocket and scrambling for a few yards here and there rather than taking a sack in the backfield.

There’s also a possibility we could also see him get it all in one run like he did against Atlanta last week where he had a carry for 31 yards in the 4th quarter.

Look for Mayfield to keep the Buccaneers in this game for as long as he can going up and over 9.5 rushing yards during Thursday Night Football.

Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 2: Dalton Kincaid, Bills Over ~40.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Dalton Kincaid finally had some sort of a breakout game last week in the Bills loss to the Patriots hauling in all eight of his targets for 75 yards with his receiving yard number listed at 40.5 heading into Thursday Night Football.

He’s passed this receiving yard number in only one other game this season, but his tight end counterpart Dawson Knox has already been ruled out for this contest which will allow him to consume all tight end targets tonight.

The Bills used their first round pick on Kincaid at this past NFL Draft so we’re figuring they’re going to finally prove his value on a consistent basis.

Look for the rookie to be highly involved in the team’s passing offense for Thursday Night Football against a Buccaneers team giving up 262 receiving yards per game which is 6th worst in the NFL.
