With starting running back Josh Jacobs likely not playing for the Raiders, more could be expected from QB Aidan O’Connell whose passing yard number is listed at 192.5 ahead of kickoff against the Chargers.

The Chargers pass defense has improved slightly as of late but they’re still bottom four in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game at 261.

O’Connell has averaged 230 passing yards per game over their last three in which he’s averaged 35 passing attempts per game and that was with Jacobs in the lineup.

The Raiders are more than likely in higher spirits than the Chargers who just lost QB Justin Herbert for the season although both teams share 5-8 records.

When the Chargers and Raiders met back on Oct 1 Khalil Mack had a heck of a day racking up SIX sacks in total en route to a 24-17 Los Angeles win.

The Raiders offensive line is banged up with two starters listed out as they gave up four sacks in last week’s 3-0 loss to the Vikings.

Mack has been a menace on the field this season in general racking up 15 sacks in total which leads the NFL.

Odds are juicy for him to record a sack but when you consider how vulnerable the Las Vegas offensive line is, it’s worth a play. Take Mack to record a sack tonight against the Chargers for Thursday Night Football.
