Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 1: Will Levis, Titans Over ~201.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Will Levis bursted onto the scene in his first start as a Titan throwing for 238 yards and four touchdowns as he’ll take on a Pittsburgh defense that has allowed 245 passing yards per game which is 24th in the NFL.

Sure Derrick Henry will get his looks on the ground, but Levis might still feel like he has something to prove to the rest of the league that looked past him during the most recent NFL Draft.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has already been ruled out for this game for the Steelers which will make it easier on Levis to get large chunks of yards which he was able to do last week completing three passes for 30+ yards.

We don’t have much data to go off of for Levis besides last game, but playing with a chip on his shoulder for a team that has yet to win a road game this season, we like Levis’s chances to get up and over 201.5 passing yards tonight on Thursday Night Football against the Steelers.

Thursday Night Football Prop Prediction 2: Dionte Johnson, Steelers Over 5.5 Receptions (+105)

Dionte Johnson has returned to being the target king for the Steelers racking up 14 of them in total for eight catches during last week’s 20-10 loss against the Jaguars.

Tonight the Steelers get a Titans defense that has allowed 255 receiving yards per game to the opposition with Johnson’s receptions number listed at 5.5 heading in.

He accumulated 147 targets last season which was tied for 7th among all NFL pass catchers. QB Kenny Pickett will start for the Steelers but is nursing a nagging rib injury that he doesn’t want to make worse tonight. So what’s that mean?

Quick passes off the line of scrimmage to avoid sacks which Johnson is best at and since TE Pat Freiermuth is still on IR with a hamstring injury, Johnson should be the main beneficiary of targets from Pickett tonight.

We get plus-money for over 5.5 receptions from Johnson and he has a solid chance to net six by the end of Thursday Night Football.
