This is Anthony Richardson’s first time playing the Titans. Tennessee is 4-1 ATS in their L5 games and 5-0 SU and ATS in their L5 against the Colts.

Two weeks ago, the Titans looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL. In Week 4, they hosted the Bengals, and they dismantled them.

Tennessee did not allow a touchdown, held Cincy to 14 first downs and 211 total yards, and held them to 22% on third down.

The Titans put up 400 yards of total offense. Ryan Tannehill looked solid, Derrick Henry returned to form, and the Titans got a much-needed win, albeit against a hobbled Bengals team.

On the other hand, the Colts looked dead in the water for much of the game against the Rams, but they came alive in the 2nd half and had a chance to win it.

Colts Football Preview

The Colts tied the game with 1:56 to go. The game went into overtime, and unfortunately for the Colts, they could not get a stop, and the Rams walked it off on them.

The Colts’ ability to make a comeback was inspiring. They did not play a great game, but they showed resilience.

Indianapolis was outgained by over 100 yards and had just 19 first downs, but their defense got stops when they needed to, and the offense converted with the game on the line.

So, despite the loss, this was a great effort for a rookie QB and head coach. Now, they host the Titans in a big AFC South showdown.

Titans vs Colts Prediction: The PICK

The Colts are slight home favorites, but the Titans may have the edge here. Ryan Tannehill plays great against mediocre pass defense, which is exactly what the Colts have.

If he can be kept clean and have time to make throws, the Colts’ secondary may not be able to keep up. Richardson’s running ability adds a very tough-to-defend element to the Colts’ offense, and this will not be easy for Tennessee to stop – they do better against immobile QBs.

This game truly is a tossup, and it should be a good, closely contested matchup.
