The Vikings are 4-4 SU and 4-3-1 ATS. The Falcons are 4-4 SU and 2-6 ATS. Minnesota is 6-4 SU and 6-3-1 in their L10 meetings against the Falcons.

Those games went 7-3 to the under. The Vikings are 4-1 ATS in their L5 games, and all six of their L6 games have gone under.

The Vikings are 4-1 ATS and SU in their L5 games against Atlanta. The Falcons are 1-6 ATS in their L7 games, and five of their L6 games have gone under.

Boy, does the Kirk Cousins injury suck? He has been balling this season, and the Vikings were looking like they were ready to make a run.

Now, Kirk is out, Jefferson is out, but Minnesota opted not to sell more assets ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

Kirk and the Vikings went into Green Bay and stomped on the Packers, which was very impressive. However, losing Kirk is probably the nail in the coffin for the Viking’s 2023 season.

Jaren Hall from BYU is the Vikings’ backup, and he is expected to start even though the Vikings picked up Josh Dobbs. Hall went 3-4 for 23 yards, took a sack, and fumbled in his limited action.

We cannot sit here and act like we know how good Hall is or can be; he is a completely unknown player. All we do know is that Hall is a major downgrade from Kirk.

Falcons Football Preview

Speaking of injuries, Desmond Ridder went down with a concussion, and we are not sure who will be under center for Atlanta.

If Ridder is able to clear protocols, we anticipate Ridder suiting up, but that is not a guarantee. Ridder was sacked five times before leaving the game, and while there are times he has looked good this season, Sunday was a day that proved a lot of doubters right.

Taylor Henicke came into the game and went 12-21 for 175 yards and a touchdown, but the TD came in basically garbage time.

While who plays for them under center is a major storyline to watch, it’s important to note how bad this defense looked. They were not prepared for Levis at all, and they were torched for three touchdowns of 30+ yards.

Maybe they were just caught entirely off guard, which is possible considering they did not know exactly how to game plan for Levis, but you’d expect an above-average defense to be up to the task.

Vikings vs Falcons Prediction: The PICK

Luckily for them, they have a great get-right spot against Hall and the Vikings at home. This is a tough game to handicap.

We have an understanding of what to expect from Taylor Henicke, but Jaren Hall is a complete mystery. In a situation like this, the way to bet this game is to take the points with the Vikings or just pass.

Prediction: Minnesota Vikings +4.5
