Germany vs Scotland Picks | Friday, June 14 | 3:00PM ET

Hosts Germany welcome in a resilient Scottish side for the curtain raiser of Euro 2024 on Friday night, with the Germans sensing some pressure on their shoulders being installed as third favorites to win this competition, along with owning the best European Championship win record out of any team in history as well.
However, that was then and this is now, with Germany simply failing to live up to expectations across the last three international tournaments since their World Cup triumph in Brazil ten years ago.
Under new manager Julian Nagelsmann however, the Germans do look like theyโve found a new gear, going unbeaten across 2024 as a whole and notching some solid victories against some world-class teams in the process, most notably the Netherlands and France.
They face a Scotland team in this one who are coming into this tournament on completely the opposite trajectory, winning just one of their last nine international matches overall, that coming against minnows Gibraltar.
That said, despite their solid recent record in 2024, Germany has managed to keep just two clean sheets across their last fourteen internationals in all, and the first game in the Euros has always tended to be higher-scoring historically, with seven of the last nine opening matches of the tournament seeing both teams find the back of the net.
At a nice plus-money price, we believe that could well be the case once again here on Friday.

Spain vs Croatia Best Bets | Saturday, June 15 | 12:00PM ET

In what is no doubt the standout game from the opening round of Group B matches, Spain takes on veterans Croatia in a game that could go a long way in terms of deciding who comes out on top in this group.
Both of these sides served up an electric clash back in the knockout stages of the previous Euros, drawing 3-3 apiece at the end of regulation after Croatia bagged two late goals to close out normal time, before Spain was then able to respond in extra-time with two additional goals and take the win.
Spain eased their way through qualifying for this tournament with seven wins from eight games, scoring an average of 3.57 goals per game across those seven wins as well.
Croatia meanwhile enter this tournament in some slightly patchier form, losing to both Wales and Turkey during qualifying, and needing a bit of fortune to get past struggling Armenia also.
However, Croatia always tends to raise their game and find that extra gear when it comes to the tournament proper, but with their veteran leadership arguably on the decline, plus a host of relatively inexperienced international players mixed in also, especially in terms of their defense, the question remains on how long Croatia can keep operating at the highest levels of world football in major tournaments.
Whether we will start to see that decline happen in this tournament or not is an open question, but even without Gavi in the lineup, Spain go in as deserved favorites for this match, and with the Spanish scoring at least one first-half goal in seven of their last nine international wins, weโre expecting another quick start to proceedings from the Spanish in this one.

Serbia vs England Picks | Sunday, June 16 | 3:00PM ET
Serbia +640 | England -220 | Draw +350
A tough game on paper to start for competition favorites England, Serbia boasts an attacking lineup that can rival anyone else in this tournament on their day.
Juventusโ Dusan Vlahovic, along with Al-Hilalโs current duo of Aleksandr Mitrovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, bring a wealth of attacking options to this Serbian lineup, but while the Serbians are no doubt offensively blessed, itโs been their defense which has been their major Achilles heel across recent tournaments.
That was no more evident than during their recent World Cup group stage, with Serbia allowing six goals combined against both Switzerland and Cameroon during those initial set of matches, a fact that for all of their obvious attacking prowess, led them to finish bottom of the group overall.
Meanwhile, England are certainly a team that can take advantage of those defensive frailties for Serbia, with Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, and especially Europeโs #1 goal scorer this season, Harry Kane, all having the talent necessary to badly expose this Serbian backline.
Itโs very difficult to see anything other than an English victory in this one, with a view to both teams finding the back of the net as well.
