Alaves vs Granada | Friday November 24 | 3:00pm ET

Two teams who have trended towards the bottom of the table this season clash on Friday over at the Estadio Mendizorrotza as Granada takes on Deportivo Alaves.

Granada heads into Friday’s matchup coming off the back of a ten-game winless run in the league, with five of their six road matches this season ending in outright defeats also.

A potentially even more worrying statistic for Paco Lopez’s side this season has been their lethargic start to games as well, with the ‘Nazaries’ conceding the most first-half goals out of any team in the league this season.

That said, they face an Alaves side in this one that are in some really poor form right now, with the ‘Babazorros’ winning just one of their last nine league outings overall and keeping just two clean sheets as well.

The most worrying factor from an Alaves perspective is their lack of goal-scoring threat this season, netting just 11 times all year, the joint lowest frequency per game rate in the entire league.

Despite Bryan Zaragoza’s notable absence for Granada ahead of this game due to suspension, Granada could still be catching Alaves at just the right time here, especially with the Nazaries winning seven of the last nine head-to-head meetings between the two sides as well.

Atletico Madrid vs Mallorca | Saturday November 25 | 3:00pm ET

Atletic Madrid -270 | Mallorca +800 | Draw +385

Mallorca will look to repeat history on Saturday as massive 8/1 road underdogs against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium this weekend as ‘Los Piratas’ look to continue a run that has seen them win three of the last four head-to-head meetings between the two sides.

However, that won’t be easily repeated in this one as Atletico Madrid has been one of Spain’s standout teams this season, while Mallorca is missing their joint-highest scorer Vedat Muriqi ahead of this game due to an injury as well.

Only Real Madrid equals Atletico in terms of conceding no set-piece goals in LaLiga this season, with the men from the capital also owning by far the league’s best defensive xGA data this year as well.

With Mallorca ranking bottom five in offensive xG, offensive scoring, defensive xGA, and opponent shots per game this season, this looks like an incredibly tall order for the Pirates to get the win this weekend, especially missing one of their main weapons up front.

That said, we could see Mallorca keeping this one tight on Saturday and we recommend taking the bigger odds on the Atletico to win by exactly 1 goal prop at +210 this weekend instead of the outright or handicap markets.

La Liga Prediction: Atletico Madrid to Win by 1 Goal (+210)

Real Sociedad vs Sevilla | Sunday November 26 | 10:15am ET

Real Sociedad -130 | Sevilla +385 | Draw +240

Real Sociedad will try and continue their assault on a coveted top-four position in the league this weekend when they host Sevilla over in San Sebastian on Sunday.

The Royals enjoyed one of the league’s best home records just before the international break, recording four straight victories at home before their first loss of the season at the Reale Arena came against Spanish heavyweights Barcelona.

Real Sociedad can arguably count themselves a little unfortunate in that loss as well, conceding to Barcelona in the 2nd minute of injury time through a late Ronald Araujo header, a goal that looked marginally offside in the build-up play.

That game aside, however, Real Sociedad have been very resilient in the league this year, failing to score in just one of their last ten league matchups overall, and also scoring in 16 of their last 17 matches across all competitions in San Sebastian as well.

Facing them is a Sevilla side in this one who can barely even seem to buy a win this season, netting all three points on just two occasions this year.

With an attack that has generated just six total goals away from home this season, and one that ranks 2nd from bottom in offensive xG also, the Rojiblancos may very well struggle on Sunday as well against an excellent Real Sociedad side playing at home.
