Leicester vs Roma Analysis
Roma travels to Leicester on Thursday at the King Power Stadium in England in a crucial Europa Conference League semifinal with both clubs’ seasons on the line heading into this one.
Like Leicester, Roma sit well outside of the automatic Champions League spots this season domestically with the ‘Giallorossi’ a full eight points off fourth-place Juventus.
Leicester have had it even worse this season over in the EPL with numerous injuries and under-performances sliding them down to mid-table. However, they have rallied over recent months, losing just once over their last eight competitive matchups in all since March.
This will be the clubs’ first meeting in European competition.

Tammy Abraham, the Europa Conference League’s joint top scorer with six goals, has found a new lease of life since leaving Chelsea last year.
The Englishman has also bagged 15 goals in Serie A competition this season also, the league’s fifth-best mark, including nine goals away from home, the league’s second-highest tally, which makes him a highly dangerous figure here on Thursday on his return to England to face Leicester.

While the ‘Foxes’ have been a decent European level side over recent seasons, this game will mark Leicester’s first appearance in a proper European semifinal and Irish boss Brendan Rodgers has said their should be an “amazing” atmosphere inside the King Power Stadium on Thursday night to witness the club’s first ever big European knockout home game.
And the match arguably couldn’t have come at a better time for Leicester as well as they’re in possibly their best form of the season right now, ranking as the EPL’s sixth-best team overall since March 1.

We’re expecting a cagey affair here on Thursday with so much on the line for both sides.
While Leicester’s season long numbers have been extremely sub-par in terms of overall defense this year, they have improved drastically over recent games, averaging just 0.43 goals per game to opponents at home since February.
Roma will also likely be far more cautious than usual here, looking to take this tie back to Italy in good shape and not poke a Leicester side that has the ability to attack them extremely quickly on the break should they push too high.
