Napoli vs Torino Betting Analysis
Three-straight wins before the international break ensured Napoli stayed at the top of the Serie A table heading into Match Day 8, but they’ll no doubt face a stiff test here on Saturday against a Torino side that ranks top-five in the league this season in terms of overall points gained away from home.
Napoli knocked off champions AC Milan in their last game before the break with the ‘Gli Azzurri’ being extremely clinical in front of goal, including their penalty chance, with Milan getting just one goal from a wasteful 22 goal attempts in that game.
Torino meanwhile, after a fairly bright start to the season, have drifted over recent weeks, banking just three points from a possible 12 over their last four league games. While that doesn’t sound good at face value, Torino shared the field with Atalanta, Inter Milan and Sassuolo over that stretch.
Lack Of Concentration Costing Torino This Season
Coach Ivan Juric will be keen to address Torino’s most pressing issue this season, which has been letting in crucial goals late in games that have ended up costing them points this season.
The Bulls did it once again two weeks ago against Sassuolo, giving up a late 93rd-minute winner to the away side which marked the fifth time in just seven games this season that Torino have conceded in or after the 80th minute in games.
Napoli Enjoying Life At Home
With an unbeaten home run that stretches all the way back to April, Napoli has every reason to be enjoying life right now and that should be no different here as they welcome in Torino on Saturday.
Napoli already secured a thunderous 4-1 victory in this venue against Liverpool in the Champions League three weeks ago and have an 80% unbeaten streak at home dating back to the start of last season when installed as pre-match home favorites in games.

Torino needs to be switched on here for the full 90 minutes, but if they are, they should provide a tough obstacle for Napoli to overcome this weekend.
Torino ranks a joint sixth in the league this year on total opponent goals allowed and seventh on overall defensive xGA as well. Considering how many of those goals came late in games, if Torino can last the full 90 minutes here, it could be a hard afternoon for the league leaders on Saturday.
Torino has failed to score in back-to-back matches heading into this game, so instead of trusting them on the side in this one, we’re taking the under 2.75 goals on Saturday between Torino and Napoli over in Serie A this weekend.
