Leicester vs West Ham | December 3 | 3:15PM ET

Leicester +185 | West Ham +150 | Draw +240

Leicester were given a huge boost last week with the news of Dutch football legend Ruud van Nistelrooy’s imminent arrival in the Foxes’ dugout, with his very first game in charge coming this week against West Ham.

Van Nistelrooy has proved himself as one of the few managers to make a successful transition over from being one of the world’s elite players, to now being a highly successful manager also, although he no doubt has his work cut out for him watching his new side slump to a 4-1 defeat over the weekend against Brentford.

West Ham meanwhile have enjoyed a similar lack of luck across recent games, suffering a 5-2 beatdown against cross-city rivals Arsenal at the weekend, with Hammer’s boss Julen Lopetegui remaining the bookie’s clear favorite to get fired next after West Ham’s dismal run of results this season.

Leicester have generally been a much tougher nut to crack at home this year, with their opponent shot count diminishing from 18.1 shots allowed on the road, to just 16.2 at home.

That translates into goals allowed this season also, with the Foxes’ allowing a sizeable 13 goals from open play away from home this season, the most out of any team in the league, compared to just eight at home.

That home data, combined with the huge upswing in confidence they’ll no doubt gain from having van Nistelrooy on the sideline here, has us on Leicester to avoid defeat in this one on Tuesday.

Premier League Prediction: Leicester +0.25 (-130)

Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest | December 4 | 2:30PM ET

Manchester City -270 | Nottingham Forest +740 | Draw +420

Manchester City continued their epic collapse on Sunday with a 2-0 loss against title rivals Liverpool, if it can still be called a title race with a current 11-point gap now separating the two sides in the table.

Manchester City haven’t won a game since the end of October in what has been a shocking turnaround for them across the last month, with manager Pep Guardiola seemingly feeling the heat also as he allowed Liverpool fans to rattle him with jibes after Sunday’s loss.

The Cityzens will get a chance to right that ship however in midweek against a team in Nottingham Forest that they’ve won three of the last four head-to-heads against, including shutting down Forest completely in all three of those wins as well.

The Tricky Trees have been playing much better than anyone expected however this season, sitting just one point off City in the table and could sensationally leapfrog them here with a win, a result that would no doubt prove a cherry on top current Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s cake, especially with his history against Pep at his former club Wolves.

Nottingham Forest have been gaining those positive results this season largely based on the back of a watertight defense, a defense that sits second in the league overall this season in defensive xGA, both outright and on the road, as well as three of their last four matches witnessing at least one of the teams failing to find the back of the net also.

This could be a fairly dour affair here on Wednesday given all of City’s current issues, plus Forest’s under-appreciated defense this season. We’re taking the Under as a result.

Premier League Prediction: Under 3 (-115)

Fulham vs Brighton | December 5 | 2:30PM ET

Fulham +130 | Brighton +195 | Draw +270

High-flying Brighton were held to a surprising stalemate over the weekend against bottom-of-the-table Southampton in a game the Seagulls almost went completely to sleep in after taking the early lead in the first half.

Brighton tried to rally late on however amassing over double the number of attempts on goal than Southampton managed, but were fortunate not to lose outright after Cameron Archer’s disallowed goal for offside mid-way through the second half.

It was a similar tale for the Cottagers on Sunday also, albeit a bit more of an upbeat one, as they held an inconsistent Tottenham side to a 1-1 draw in North London, a result that keeps Fulham locked in a highly competitive midtable grouping.

Fulham have provided a real thorn in Brighton’s proverbial side across recent seasons, winning four of the last five meetings between the two sides in this venue, so it’s no surprise to see the Cottagers go in as marginal favorites once again for this one, an assessment we’re in full agreement with.

However, instead of trusting Fulham to deliver an outright win on Thursday, something they’ve done in just two of their last seven matches overall, we’re instead going to buy this line up to a straight pick ‘em (draw no bet line) at a current price of -145 as insurance here in a game we don’t envision Fulham losing in.

Premier League Prediction: Fulham +0 [PK] (-145)
