Luton vs Wolves | September 23 | 10:00am ET

Luton +115 | Wolves +235 | Draw +250

Luton vs Wolves EPL Prediction

A potentially huge six-pointer takes place on Saturday down at the bottom of the EPL table as 16th-placed Wolves travel south to take on bottom-of-the-table side Luton in a matchup that could prove extremely important for both sides come the end of the season.

Wolves will fancy their chances of securing all three points on the road in this game as not only have they looked lively across their three away games this season, scoring two goals against Crystal Palace last time out and coming extremely close to knocking off Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Also, they also face a Luton side in this one who have yet to register a single point all season, shipping 10 goals across those four EPL starts as well.

However, Luton’s survival this season will lie firmly on how well they perform at home inside Kenilworth Road, a claustrophobic venue that will definitely be worth some edge for them as the season unfolds.

Luton have played just one home game so far this season, playing well against one of the league’s best teams in West Ham as they put up almost twice as many goal attempts in that game than the Hammers and had a greater offensive xG rating as well, so they will also fancy their chances of pulling the upset at home this weekend.

Surprisingly, despite both teams ranking bottom half in offensive scoring this year, Wolves rank top ten in both road offensive xG (8th), and total shots per game away from home also (5th), while only Aston Villa has shot at a higher percentage inside the 18-yard box this season than Luton has.

Unsurprisingly, both teams have been incredibly weak at the back, with both teams ranking bottom five in the league in both defensive xGA and total goals allowed this season.

Take this one to be a scrappy, tight affair on Saturday in a game both teams should get on the scoreboard in with a view towards the outright 1-1 correct score also.

Prediction: Both Teams to Score – Yes (-134)

Liverpool vs West Ham | September 24 | 9:00am ET

Liverpool -230 | West Ham +560 | Draw +415

Liverpool vs West Ham EPL Prediction

Interesting game on Sunday as both teams play on Thursday night over in the Europa League and come back to face a stern test domestically on Merseyside this weekend.

West Ham will have the advantage in terms of rest as they host Serbian side TSC Backa Topola on Thursday night while Liverpool have to make the trip over to Austria to take on LASK Linz, with both teams expected to make some substantial changes to their lineup ahead of their respective games.

However, that’s not always been the case either as sometimes teams have opted to focus more on the opening couple of games in a major European competition in order to wrap up the group early before resting and rotating later on down the line.

If that’s the case, then the advantage suddenly switches over to Liverpool as the Europa League will mean far less to them than a West Ham side fresh off winning the Europa Conference League last season, instead of a six-time European Cup winning Liverpool side who will view this as a serious step down after finishing as runners-up in the Champions League in 2021-22, and winning it outright in 2018-19.

Because of that, the EPL should take priority here for the Reds, and Jurgen Klopp will know that another win at home on Sunday puts serious pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table.

Liverpool have been impervious at home so far this season, winning twice and scoring six goals across those two games as well. The Reds have also won six straight at Anfield against West Ham going all the way back to the 2017-18 season as well, shutting out West Ham in half of those games also.

Take what should be an almost full-strength Liverpool side on Sunday to get the outright win at home against West Ham, with the win-to-nil price looking especially appealing despite Liverpool’s less-than-stellar defense to start the season.

Prediction: Liverpool to Win to Nil (+185)

Arsenal vs Tottenham | September 24 | 9:00am ET

Arsenal -140 | Tottehnam +330 | Draw +330

Arsenal vs Tottenham EPL Prediction

The Battle of North London kicks off on Sunday as Tottenham makes the short trip over to Arsenal, with both teams arguably making a case for themselves as the best team in the capital right now. Arsenal’s near victory in the EPL title race last season has been closed by Tottenham’s hot start to the season this year, with Spurs actually sitting ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table due to goal difference.

However, what looked to be a major detriment to Spurs at the start of the season, may well have worked out great for them as they failed to qualify for any European competition back in May for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

That was quite the shock for Tottenham as well as no other EPL team bar Manchester City had qualified for more European competitions over the last 12 years than Tottenham had, but that elimination has come with a silver lining as Tottenham has looked electric under new manager Ange Postecoglou to start the season.

Arsenal meanwhile faces a tricky home game against a solid PSV Eindhoven side on Wednesday, and really can’t rotate all that much ahead of that game either as not only do PSV present a strong threat, both Lens (despite their current league position in French Ligue 1) and Sevilla present serious tests for the Gunners also in this group.

Arsenal has won each of the last three meetings in this venue between the two sides, but with the added rest factor for Tottenham ahead of this one, the new buzz around the club with Ange Postecoglou and James Maddison’s arrival, and the fact that only Manchester City currently owns a better offensive xG rating away from home this season than Tottenham does, leans us towards taking the road team in this one at a pretty sizeable price this weekend.

Prediction: Tottenham ML (+330)
