Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa | May 19 | 11:00AM ET

A lot has changed in the league since the mid-point of February, with Crystal Palace looking like a completely revamped team under new manager Oliver Glasner, going from 5th from bottom in the table with relegation concerns on their minds, to now charging towards a top half finish in the table.

Since Glasner took charge at Palace a few months ago, the Eagles sit as the 4th best team in the league overall, better than Liverpool, better than Newcastle, and more importantly for this particular game, better than Aston Villa also.

A large part of that success for Palace has been their defense which ranks top three in the league overall since Glasner took charge, only being eclipsed by the two big boys of Manchester City and Arsenal respectively who are the only two clubs to have allowed fewer goals than Palace since mid-February.

Aston Villa’s recent form meanwhile has been tepid by comparison, generating just 1.50 PPG across their last six starts compared with Crystal Palace’s 2.67 PPG, second in the league overall.

Even at the best of times this season, however, Villa’s road form has always been a bit of an Achilles heel for them, noticing a massive -1.09 xGD/90 dropoff from their numbers inside Villa Park this season to when they go on the road.

Both Crystal Palace and Aston Villa own the league’s strongest home-field advantage this season in terms of offensive performance, with Crystal Palace ranking #1 in the league in terms of an uptick in goals scored at home this year at +26%, and Aston Villa sitting right behind them in the #2 spot with a +23% mark, with no other team breaching +20%.

That’s good news for Crystal Palace ahead of this one and bad news for Aston Villa, and we’ll happily side with the in-form team at home here on Sunday to take all three points down in London.

Premier League Prediction: Crystal Palace ML (-115)

Manchester City vs West Ham | May 19 | 11:00AM ET

Manchester City -1075 | West Ham +1920 | Draw +1110

Manchester City vs West Ham | May 19 | 11:00AM ET

It’s a win-and-done scenario for Manchester City here on Sunday as they aim for the domestic double across the next ten days, first securing their sixth Premier League title in the last seven seasons, and then hoping to beat cross-town rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final just a few days later as well.

While it’s not quite the historic treble City acquired last season, winning both the domestic double plus their first-ever Champions League title, it’s still a remarkable achievement nonetheless and shows their dynastic quality across recent seasons in the Premier League, similar to what Manchester United accomplished in the 1990s and Liverpool in the 1980s.

Standing in their way of achieving that on Sunday is a West Ham side that looks completely out of form recently, generating just 0.80 PPG across their last five starts, with only four teams in the league generating less than that over that same timeframe.

However, the Hammers did show some life at the weekend in their win against Luton, and with this being David Moyes’ final game in charge of West Ham before he exits, we might well get a best effort from the Hammers here on Sunday, with Moyes promising no day off and a “professional performance” to boot.

Whether that will be enough to unseat a City team at home in this one that has been nigh on impervious in the league across recent matchdays is unclear, but the Cityzens look in absolutely scintillating form right now and it’s difficult to make a case for West Ham this weekend given they’ve lost seven of their last nine games away from home.

Look for Manchester City to try and take command early in this one and lead at the break over at the Etihad on Sunday.

Premier League Prediction: 1H Manchester City -1 (-150)

Arsenal vs Everton | May 19 | 11:00AM ET

Arsenal -595 | Everton +1400 | Draw +700

Arsenal vs Everton | May 19 | 11:00AM ET

One team hoping West Ham can perform miracles on Sunday will be fellow London side Arsenal who need Manchester City to slip up this weekend in order to leapfrog them into first place in the table and secure their first league title in 20 years.

The Gunners have been in some ruthless form themselves of late, reeling off five straight wins on the bounce, and outscoring opponents 14-2 across that run also. However, it’s all been to no avail as Manchester City have similarly been indomitable in the league of late with both teams simply matching each other across recent weeks.

Arsenal faces a rejuvenated Everton side in this one who look like a completely different team from the one we saw earlier in the year, winning four of their last five games outright, and ranking top four in the league in points per game generated across their last six starts.

Arsenal has dominated Everton in their last two head-to-heads down in London, beating them by an aggregate scoreline of 9-1, and given everything that’s at stake ahead of this one for Arsenal, the Gunners are more than capable of doing similar damage here on Sunday.

However, given Everton’s newfound form in the league, plus the fact if Manchester City starts to dominate West Ham early in their matchup, the news will no doubt filter down to North London and affect the atmosphere inside the Emirates, -2.25 seems like a huge number to cover on the favorite under those circumstances.

Take the Toffees plus the big headstart over at the Emirates on Sunday.

Premier League Prediction: Everton +2.25 (-125)
