Crystal Palace at Arsenal Premier League Predictions

London derby on a shortened EPL slate as Arsenal host Crystal Palace over at the Emirates this weekend looking to make up ground on Liverpool at the top of the table.

Crystal Palace meanwhile continued their hard-to-beat style under Roy Hodsgon as they lost a competitive 2-1 game against Chelsea in their last road start in the league, with the Blues needing a late penalty in that one with just one minute remaining in normal time to secure all three points.

That, however, remains Crystal Palace’s only loss across any of their last five games in all, and on the road especially this season is where Palace have been at their most dangerous, losing only four games all year away from home and getting stellar results against some of the best teams in the league as well, with draws against Manchester City, West Ham and outright victories against Manchester United on the road also.

Palace has done well in this particular venue across recent seasons as well, coming out with a result in four of their last five visits here, although that impressive run did come to a screeching halt back in March of last year with a 4-1 win for the Gunners.

Overall, the fixtures between these two teams have tended to be very goal-heavy in this venue, with only one of the last six head-to-head meetings at the Emirates witnessing less than four goals, a fact that we could well see once again with Arsenal needing to gain ground in both points gained and goals scored on the teams above them in the table.

Premier League Prediction: Over 3.5 (+195)

Liverpool at Bournemouth | January 21 | 11:30am ET

Liverpool -140 | Bournemouth +335 | Draw +330

Liverpool at Bournemouth Premier League Prediction

Talking of the top of the table, Liverpool will look to extend their lead at the summit when they travel to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon, a venue where they’ve won four of the last five head-to-heads overall.

However, Bournemouth have been in some good form themselves of late, with Andoni Iraola’s side unbeaten in eight of their last nine games overall, winning seven of those eight games outright also.

Another factor in Bournemouth’s favor ahead of this one is that the Reds will be without joint Premier League top scorer Mo Salah as he suits up for his native Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations which is taking place currently.

Outside of the 9-0 thrashing that Liverpool delivered on Bournemouth back in August 2022, a result that represented Liverpool’s biggest-ever win in the Premier League era and got former Bournemouth manager Scott Parker fired, the Cherries have been competitive in this fixture across recent seasons, winning one of the last three meetings outright and scoring in every one of those three matchups as well.

Take the Bournemouth Exact Team Total Goals – 1 prop on Sunday in their game against Liverpool over at the Vitality Stadium.

Premier League Prediction: Bournemouth Exact Team Total Goals – 1 (+130)

Wolves at Brighton | January 22 | 2:45pm ET

Wolves +405 | Brighton -160 | Draw +325

Wolves at Brighton Premier League Predictions

Two mid-table sides in Wolves and Brighton clash on Monday evening down on the south coast with Wolves looking to make it four wins from four in the Premier League with another victory to round out Matchday 21.

Wolves have been resurgent under Gary O’Neil this year who took over from Julen Lopetegui at the start of the season, with the West Midlands club being ranked as one of the favorites to go down prior to the start of the season, only for them to perform well above expectations over the next few months to earn their place in the middle of the table.

Brighton meanwhile started the season fast themselves, but fighting across multiple fronts both domestically and in Europe did lead to their roster getting somewhat over-extended, and similar to what happened to Newcastle, producing a severe dip in form at times as a result.

However, at home this season, Brighton remains a force, losing just one game at the Amex all year, and winning three of their last four here outright as well, which included a 4-2 thriller against Tottenham last time out.

However, their form against Wolves in particular hasn’t been nearly as good, only winning one of their last four meetings against them in this venue, and that could be a major concern for them once again with Wolves currently in their best run of form all season.

Looking at the last time these two teams played on the south coast back in April of last year, Brighton ran out easy 6-0 winners in that game, so it’s little surprise to see them being installed at the current -1 handicap line to win and cover on Monday.

However, when factoring in recent form, Wolves have been playing well of late, so handing them a full-goal headstart in this one seems a little disrespectful, and we’re happy to side with the underdog on Monday as a result.

Premier League Prediction: Wolves +1 (-125)
