Leicester vs Nottingham Forest | October 25 | 3:00PM ET

Two East Midlands sides clash on Friday over at the King Power Stadium as high-flying Nottingham Forest takes on Leicester City in what is an extremely meaningful game for both of these teams heading into the weekend.

Nottingham Forest grabbed another crucial victory on Monday night as they overcame Crystal Palace 1-0 at home thanks to the efforts of a Chris Wood rebound.

That win now means Forest have started the season losing just one of their eight games so far, a tremendous record seeing as Manchester City remain the only club in the league to better that record.

For Leicester City, they also came off a win last weekend also, but were forced to battle back in dramatic fashion, going two goals behind early, only to roar back late and grab the winner deep into injury time.

We don’t envision a similar type of matchup this weekend however, with Forest being surprisingly compact at the back this season, keeping a first-half clean sheet in six of their eight games so far.

On top of that, Leicester have also been tight at home this season, ranking joint-6th in the league alongside Arsenal in terms of the number of goals they’ve allowed so far on the season.

With a lot at stake in this one, we see Friday’s game being cagier than usual, and just like their last meeting, going under the total as a result.

Brighton vs Wolves | October 26 | 10:00AM ET

Despite a brave performance from Wolves last week at home, actually taking the lead against Manchester City in Wolverhampton only to come unstuck right at the end, it’s now been six straight defeats on the bounce for Wolves across all competitions heading into this weekend, and a run they seriously need to snap if they’re going to survive in the Premier League this season.

Facing them on Saturday is a team in Brighton who have turned things around across recent weeks themselves, beating both Tottenham and Newcastle across their last two matchdays, and something they’ll no doubt look to do yet again, inflicting a second straight defeat on Wolves in as many months after dumping them out of the EFL Cup back in September.

That said, Brighton have consistently been one of the worst teams in the Premier League when it comes to facing teams in the relegation zone, winning just 12 of their last 45 matchups against teams starting the day down in the drop zone.

Whether Wolves can take advantage of that fact however is another matter as the Molineux men not only sit bottom of the league this season, but have also shipped by far the most number of goals in the league as well.

The meeting between these two teams in the EFL Cup last month finished 3-2 to Brighton, and while there were a number of first-team players out for that clash, we envision a similar scoreline in this one as both teams remain defensively vulnerable on the season.

Arsenal vs Liverpool | October 27 | 11:30AM ET

The big clash in the Premier League this weekend sees league leaders Liverpool travel down to the English capital to take on last season’s runners-up Arsenal in a game that could go a long way in deciding the title race in 2024/25.

Liverpool have been in some impervious form to start the season since Dutch coach Arne Slot took over in the summer, with the Reds record of winning seven of their opening eight games so far meaning the transition from Jurgen Klopp to Slot was as seamless as any Liverpool fan could have hoped for.

For Arsenal, it’s been a little bit more of a subdued start to the season, beating the likes of PSG in European competition, yet falling short domestically, coming off yet another poor result against Bournemouth last weekend.

That leaves the Gunners four points adrift of Liverpool in the table and badly needing to avoid another defeat in this one, a result which if it took place would leave a severe dent in their title hopes for this season.

Arsenal have a number of players out for this game, with both injuries and suspensions combining to plague their ranks, and the Reds might well view this as a perfect time to strike a killing blow down in the capital as a result this weekend.

Liverpool’s defense has been on point so far this season, allowing by far the fewest goals and the fewest number of shots away from home this season also.

We’re going to take a chance on the huge odds on offer for Liverpool to sneak a huge away win on the road this weekend down in London.
