Cadiz vs Valladolid | Friday, May 19 | 3:00pm ET

Cadiz +120 | Valladolid +240 | Draw +235

Cadiz vs Valladolid prediction data

Huge relegation battle over in Spain this Friday night as Real Valladolid take on Cadiz in a game that both sides will target as a potential means to move themselves away from the bottom of the table.

Both teams currently sit just one point above the relegation zone, locked in at 35 points respectively, so things couldn’t be much more on a knife edge approaching Friday’s game over at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.

However, despite the home sides precarious position in the league, they have been strong in this role at home this season when facing bottom half-placed sides in the table, failing to lose any of their seven matchups so far this year in which that’s occurred.

On top of that, manager Sergio Gonzalez also seems to have finally got a handle on his team after a disastrous start to the campaign, winning just one of their opening eleven games in all (a run that very nearly got him fired), to now owning a respectable W5, D3, L3 record across their last eleven games at home.

Only rock-bottom Elche have a worse overall record since December 1st than Real Valladolid do in LaLiga this season, and they’ll be hard pressed to rectify that in this one either given they’ve won just once in this venue going all the way back to 1989, dropping three of their last four on the road as well.

Take Cadiz to get the home win and cover on Friday against Real Valladolid.

Prediction: Cadiz -0.25 (-115)

Almeria vs Mallorca | Saturday, May 20 | 12:30pm ET

Almeria +130 | Mallorca +225 | Draw +230

Almeria vs Mallorca prediction data

In what’s expected to be a nail-biting finish to LaLiga this season, with just three total points separating five teams at the bottom of the table, the relegation battle is definitely heating up with only four games left on the season.

One of those teams is Almeria as just two points currently separates them from the final relegation spot occupied by Getafe in 18th.

However, with two losses from their last three games in the league overall, Almeria will likely know they’ll need to generate at least a few more points before the end of the season to finally call themselves safe.

Mallorca meanwhile sit eight points clear of Almeria in midtable and haven’t looked good on the road for quite some time, generating just one win away from home in the league going all the way back to November.

Therefore the line on the home side to defeat the Pirates in this one looks tempting considering not only Mallorca’s tepid road form this season, but also the fact that Almeria have generated a mammoth 29 of their 36 total points this year at home inside the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos.

Take Almeria in this one to continue that run with a win and cover at home on Saturday against Mallorca.

Prediction: Almeria -0.25 (+100)

Valencia vs Real Madrid | Sunday, May 21 | 12:30pm ET

Valencia +215 | Real Madrid +120 | Draw +260

Valencia vs Real Madrid prediction data

Real Madrid came off a crushing loss against Manchester City in midweek over in England in a game which the Spanish giants blown out of the water quickly in as the English champions went 2-0 up inside a quick 14 minute span thanks to the efforts of midfielder Bernardo Silva who scored both first-half goals, eventually going on to win the game 4-0 by full-time.

That was no doubt a tough way for the current champions to relinquish their European crown, and with so little left to play for in terms of the domestic season, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Carlo Ancelotti can pick up his troops here for their penultimate road game of the season.

They face a Valencia team in this one that look to have done just about enough to stay up this season, securing three wins from their last five games overall.

However, Valencia can take nothing for granted with four games still left to be played as only three points currently separate them from 18th placed Getafe in the league table.

While they’ve no doubt endured one of their worst league campaigns over recent decades this season, Valencia will still be buoyed by the fact that things have started to pick up for them over the back half of the year, generating the league’s 4th best defensive xGA numbers at home since February 1st.

On top of that, Valencia have turned the Mestalla into something akin to a fortress this season, amassing 25 of their 37 points inside their home stadium.

We believe they continue that here on Sunday also and manage to grind out a result at home against a deflated Real Madrid side coming off their worst loss of the season so far.

Prediction: Valencia +0.5 (-135)
