Brentford vs Liverpool | January 18 | 10:00AM ET

Brentford +470 | Liverpool -200 | Draw +395

Liverpool’s march to the Premier League title was halted briefly on Tuesday night as they were held to a 1-1 draw against the surprise packages of this season Nottingham Forest.

The Tricky Trees have proven to be a major thorn in Arne Slot’s side this year, not only beating them at Anfield earlier in the season, but almost doing it again in midweek with Liverpool needing a late second-half comeback in order to snatch a draw.

That said, Liverpool were good value for the draw in that game, owning a massive 23-6 goal attempts advantage over Forest, as well as generating five times the amount of offensive xG as their opponents also.

Brentford meanwhile played spoiler themselves on Tuesday night with a 2-2 draw against Manchester City, with the current Premier League champions throwing away a two-goal lead in that game with less than ten minutes of regulation time remaining to see City’s title hopes all but evaporate.

However, despite that spirited comeback in midweek from Brentford, their recent home form has been concerning, going winless in four straight games now at the Community Stadium which is probably the last run you’d want to be on before preparing to take on the formidable league leaders.

That said, Brentford have been extraordinarily fast starters in the league this season, especially at home, where they’ve scored 16 goals inside the first half alone, which not only ranks #1 in the league this year, but is also twice as many goals as Liverpool has managed in that same capacity at Anfield.

Liverpool meanwhile have generally been the opposite in games this season, coming on late on in matches and netting just 41.7% of all their goals in the first half this year, so we’re happy to take a piece of Brentford to cover early in this one for Saturday.

Premier League Prediction: 1H Brentford +0.5 (-117)

Manchester United vs Brighton | January 19 | 3:00PM ET

Manchester United +100 | Brighton +255 | Draw +275

Despite sitting 14th in the table overall prior to Thursday’s clash against bottom-of-the-table Southampton, there is some genuine optimism surrounding Manchester United right now after putting in two really solid performances against both Liverpool and Arsenal across the last week.

That’s due in no small part to Ruben Amorim seemingly settling on the midfield pairing of Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo in the center, a partnership that has produced much greater momentum moving forward for United, and made them much more dangerous as a result.

Brighton meanwhile have continued to struggle of late across pretty much all competitions, with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Championship side Norwich last weekend the only bright spot in a current nine-game run for the Seagulls.

However, that hasn’t stopped Brighton from consistently scoring in games, netting at least one goal in 17 of their last 18 matches overall, and hitting at an extremely high 80% rate in BTTS this season (2nd in the league overall).

Despite being held to a scoring blank in three of their last five games themselves prior to their midweek clash against Southampton, United have looked a lot more dangerous offensively across those last two starts we mentioned, and taking on a team in Brighton that has given up the most opponent chances inside their own 18-yard box this season could spell out a recipe for even more goals for Manchester United this weekend.

The Both Teams to Score – Yes prop is currently sitting at a high -170 right now, but given what we’ve seen offensively from both teams recently, that’s still likely the optimal play for this game.

Premier League Prediction: Both Teams to Score – Yes (-170)

Chelsea vs Wolves | January 20 | 3:00PM ET

Chelsea -300 | Wolves +700 | Draw +485

Relegation-battling Wolves slipped to yet another defeat in midweek against a resurgent Newcastle side, a result that currently sees a total of just three points separating four of the bottom five teams in the league overall in what is increasingly becoming a heavily congested drop zone.

While Chelsea don’t quite have the same level of problems that Wolves do heading into this game, it’s nonetheless not all sun and roses over in West London either as Chelsea slipped to yet another draw in midweek against Bournemouth, their fifth straight winless match in the league.

The Blues were extremely fortunate in that game as well, needing a late 95th-minute equalizer from a Reece James free kick to give them a share of the spoils, but they’ll need to improve on that display here if they’re finally going to snap that current winless run and add even further to Wolves’ woes on Monday.

Both of the last two encounters between these two sides have been wild rides, with Wolves blowing out Chelsea 4-2 the last time these two teams met in this venue back in February, while Chelsea returned the favor at the Molineux earlier this season with a 6-2 demolition job of Wolves in the West Midlands.

No team’s games have averaged more total goals this season than Wolves’ have, with the Molineux club combining for a massive 79 goals scored across their 21 Premier League games so far this season (3.76 GPG).

That has increased even further in Wolves’ road games this year, with Wolves’ games averaging 3.82 GPG away from home, while for Chelsea, they’ve been no slouches in front of nets either, especially early on in games, with 64.7% of all of their goals at home this season coming in the opening 45 minutes.

Take Over 1.5 first-half goals on Monday in what should be an entertaining encounter down at Stamford Bridge between Wolves and Chelsea.

Premier League Prediction: 1H Over 1.5 (-105)
