Verona vs Juventus Betting Analysis
After four-straight wins in Serie A, Juventus is finally starting to get into the mix at the top of the table, overtaking Roma at the weekend to sit in fifth place. The Old Lady will need to maintain that same level of consistency here if they’re going to break inside the top four.
Verona, meanwhile, sits bottom of the league after eight-straight losses. Salvatore Bocchetti’s men really need to find a way to generate a win sooner rather than later.
Verona has gone unbeaten against Juventus at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi across six of their last seven meetings overall, and won their last meeting here 13 months ago by a 2-1 scoreline.
Improving Juve Still Has a Mountain to Climb
Despite ranking as the second-best team in the league since mid-October with a perfect 4-0 record and failing to concede even a single goal over that timeframe as well, Juventus still has a huge mountain to climb in terms of challenging for the title this season.
The Bianconeri sit a full 13 points off the pace behind league-leaders Napoli at the summit of the table, but a game in hand against Verona on Thursday will at least look to close that gap, provided Juventus get the win here.
Verona Needs To Find Quick Fix
Contrary to Juventus’ form since mid-October, Verona has been pretty much the opposite, going 0-4 over that same stretch and allowing a league-high nine goals as well.
A lot of those issues have happened after the halftime break this season for the ‘I Mastini’, as no team has conceded more second half goals this season than Verona.

Money has poured in on Juventus since the opening line was first set and it’s for good reason. Despite a solid recent head-to-head record for Verona in this series, they’re in such abysmal form right now it’s really hard to make a case for them taking anything from this one.
Juventus is going off at around -130 at the time of writing and while that’s a fair price overall, a better way might be to live-bet this game at the half when Verona have tended to come off the boil in games.
Verona has conceded 61.5-percent of their goals this season in the second half of games, while six of Juventus’ last eight goals in the league have come in the second half. So we might well squeeze some extra value out of this game on Thursday by live betting Juventus at the break.
