WNBA Player Props Predictions: Angel Reese Chicago Sky OVER 8.5 Rebounds (-112) FD

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has gone over this line in 3 of 5 games in the first season of her WNBA career with 12, 5, 9, 9 and 8 rebounds.

The LSU product is averaging nearly a double-double with 12 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Over the last three games, Reese has seen a minute’s increase with over 31 minutes per game compared to the 25.5 she played in her first two games.

These Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky own the bottom-2 free throw percentages in the league and Reese will be one of the two prime rebounding positions at the charity stripe whenever she’s on the floor.

The Sparks allow the 2nd fewest rebounds per game but the Sky average 13 offensive rebounds per game and Reese collects 36% of those.

The only game Reese failed to record 8+ rebounds was against one of the strongest rebounding teams in the WNBA in the Connecticut Sun. This game will offer some additional rebounding chances that will push Reese up and over this total.

WNBA Player Props Predictions: Skylar Diggins-Smith Seattle Storm OVER 15.5 Points (-104) FD

Seattle Storm guard Skylar Diggins-Smith is only averaging 13.8 points per game, but she’s cleared this point total in 4 of 7 games with 22, 18, 16 and 21 points.

After missing all of last season due to a pregnancy, Diggins-Smith appears to have shaken off the rust as she’s shot a combined 13 of 21 from the field for 37 points in her last two games.

The Indiana Fever sit dead last in defensive efficiency with 89.8 points allowed per game and their missing two players in Erica Wheeler and Tami Fagbenle.

The Fever also allow the most fast-break points in the WNBA which doesn’t bode well as Seattle ranks 4th in pace of play.

The spread is only -5.5 so Diggins-Smith should see full minutes giving her ample opportunity to score 16+ points against short-handed Fever team playing on the heels.
